Pain following hip replacement at months out. Common symptoms after surgery. He said he had never heard of it before. Ever. And sent me on my way saying I didn’t need to come back for 6 months. Exact symptoms experienced by up to 30% of those having hip replacements. Femoral stem pain is the diagnosis. Easily researched. No help at all. Never going back.

Dr. Cheng has few t little solutions for surgeries that are not typical or standard. After 6 months of the same routine, with the same poor results, we had to move on to a doctor that is able to think outside of the box, find solutions and care about the patient.

Dr. Cheng was not the appropriate surgeon for a hip replacement. The joint was infected according to Dr. Cheng and the surgery was put on hold. The frustration is this happened multiple times and we finally had to seek another surgeon. Dr. Cheng is not able to think creatively about other solutions, does not seem to consult other doctors about situations is not aware and was not very sympathetic to the situation. A "routine" simple procedure maybe...anything else look elsewhere.

II would highly recommend him as a surgeon. Very satisfied with the results.
