Terrible bedside manner. Dismissed me, told me nothing was wrong with my back. He said he didn't see anything wrong with my images. I left in tears, my husband with me, just as stunned. I think he was looking at someone else's images instead of mine. I have SCOLIOSIS!

Ineffective surgery from indifferent, chronically late doctor. Keep shopping.

He took the time to explain everything. He addressed my concerns. I never felt rushed.

I have been going to see dr Gooch for a while and I am fixing to have surgery on Wednesday and kinda nervous because I have never had back surgery but I believe it will go well

Dr. Gooch fused my lumbar two years ago this month. I am scheduled for my last visit with him next week. He follows his spine patients for two years. Without the expert work of this surgeon I would not be able to function. Two years out and I feel wonderful. I will never be 100% again at age 74, but I am so grateful to him and his great staff for my good spine health today.

My husband has been a patient close to 2 yrs of Dr Gooch. We have had nothing positive to come from this experience. Diagnosed with cervical disk herniation with no significant treatment. He was given 2 steroidal injections with minimal relief. Visit after visit put off by Dr Gooch. Physical therapy, EMG, and chiropractic care. We had no answer to any of our questions. He always seemed to "pass the buck". Finally when we told him something needed to be done for pain relief he decided my husband had no cervical pain or issues to address. Second opinion was requested and he refused to send a referral to a doctor of our choosing.

Dr. Gooch has operated on me three times with great results leaving me pain free after the sourness of surgery. I would recommend to anyone having back troouble
