Dr. Huei-Ling Chang

We are a dental group practice specializing in Prosthodontics (Henry Y. Wu, DDS, MS) and Periodontics (Huei-Ling Chang, DDS, MS. Judy, J. Cyi, DDS, Ph.D.). Integrity and quality are our goal and tradition.
Dr. Henry Wu, a native Taiwanese, Graduated from Taipei Medical University,  received prothodontic certificate and Master of Science degree from Northwesten University in 1985,and maxillofacial prosthodontic training from Roswell Park Memorial Institute in1986. He was board certified in 1991and joined a part time faculty member at UCSF, School of Dentistry from 1989-2010, left the school as a clinical professor. Currently, He is a consultant of Maxillofacial prosthodontist at Kaiser Permanente. 
He is a member of American Dental Association, local Alameda, Southern Alameda and Santa Clara Dental Societies, a fellow of American College of Prosthodontists, a fellow of American Academy of maxillofacial Prosthetics, a diplomate of American Board of Prosthodntics. He …published several articles and gave some presentations at local dental societies, and annual meetings of ADA, ACP, AAMP and American Dental Research.
Dr. Judy Chyi, a native Taiwanese, graduated from Kaoshung Medical University, received periosontic certificate  from Loyola University in 1984 and earned  a Ph.D. degree from Oral Biology from Northwestern University in 1989.She devoted
herself in practicing dentistry and raising three children to college and medical school. she is a member of American Dental Associatio and Alameda dental society.
Dr. Huei-Ling Chang, a native Taiwanese too, graduated from Yang-Ming Medical School, also received a D.D.S.degree from UCSF,  a certificate and M.S. degree from The Ohio State University. she was board certified in 2009. Currently, she is a assistant professor of Periodontics at UOP. She is amember of American Dental Association,Southern Alameda Dental society, Santa Clara Dental society, and a diplomate of American Academy of Periodontology.
Who is a Prosthodontist? A prosthodontist is a dental specialist who fulfilled additional training requirements in restoring the optimal esthetics and functions of your teeth. Whether the problem is severely worn, multiple decay & missing, bite problems, or orofacial deficiencies due to disease process, a comprehensive approach with crown & bridge, removable partial denture, dental implant and maxillofacial prosthesis can be planned after consultation with a prosthodontist. 
Who is a Periodontist? A periodontist is a dentist who specializes in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal disease, and in the placement of dental implants. Periodontists are also experts in the treatment of oral inflammation. Periodontists receive extensive training in these areas, including three additional years of education beyond dental school. They are familiar with the latest techniques for diagnosing and treating periodontal disease, and are also trained in performing cosmetic periodontal procedures. 
Our practice is aiming at building a strong foundation of the periodontal health and restoring the teeth with optimal sophy is offering the treatment of patient's best interest with up to date evidence based dentistry.
