Dr. Humberto Carlos Machado, MD

On the past 2 years I haven't seen Dr Machado. Only his PA's . The last visit this "doctor" took me out of digoxin. Two weeks later I am on the er again with Pulmonary Edema. His opinion is that Digoxin is obsolete. I wish someone who doesnt care about my health would keep his opinions for himself. I place my life on the hands of a doctor and the more I know them, the least I trust doctors. Never coming back

The Dr. Machado attended to my brother and was not professional and rude. I also speak badly of Dr. who referred my brother to his clinic. Unfortunately the insurance that my brother has ,he has to be evaluated with him.; otherwise we would look for another doctor. Definitely I do not recommend it. I have to add that because of the way He treat my brother my brother's pressure went up.

Mi madre de 89 años fue paciente de este doctor por mas de 12 años, recibia sus examenes de rutina con frecuencia pero un dia asistimos a su consulata despues de estar hospitalizada con una condicion muy delicada y la atendio su asistente, inmediatamente nos comunico que debia hacerse un electrocardiograma de urgencia pero que alli no podian , nos sugirio que fuesemos al Mercy Hospital, pues ellos tenian acceso a toda la informacion medica por tener privilegios en dicho hospital, una vez alli a mi madre le detectaron muchas anomalias, tratamos de contacatar a este doctor muchisimas veces por telefono, pero su oficina apenas responden, lo llamamos a su cellular , le dejamos mensajes y nunca contestaron, un dia logre hablar con la oficina y quedaron en responder, cosa esta que nunca ocurrio y mi pobre madre dias despues murio, que pena , ella que confiaba tanto en este doctor, no lo recomiendo a nadie, mientras ellos puedan mandar billes a los seguros todo va bien, pero si caes en un… hospital ojala, Dios mediante no corran la suerte de mi madre, yo tambien era su pacienta, ya no ire nunca mas.

My 89-year-old mother was a patient of this doctor for more than 12 years, she received her routine exams frequently but one day we attended her medical office in Coral Gables, Miami, after being hospitalized with a very delicate condition and her assistant attended her, she immediately informed us that she should get an emergency electrocardiogram but that they could not do it there, he suggested we go to Mercy Hospital, because they had access to all the medical information for having privileges in that hospital, once there my mother was detected many anomalies, we tried to contact this doctor many times on the phone, but his office rarely responds, we called him on his cell phone, we left messages and never answered, one day I managed to talk to the office and they remained in response, something that never happened and my poor mother days later DIED , what a pity, she who trusted this doctor so much, I do not recommend it to anyone, as long as they can send bills to insurance… everything is going well, but if you fall into hospital hopefully, God through not run the fate of my mother, I was also his patient, I will not go anymore.

This place is a factory, they take the blood pressure and at the same time othe guy performe a EKG, then without asking the reason of your visit they order a heart monitor, stress test etc. and when you ask to speak with Dr. Machado they said you already were seen by another Doctor. Keep away from these people.

Ir a la oficina del Dr Machado es una pesadilla el tiempo de espera es de mas de 2 horas, la atencion del personal con alguna execcion es muy malo. Una llamada en espera es de mas de 20 minutos. No responden Los mensaje. Etc etc etc.

INITIALLY THIS DOCTOR WAS CARING, GOOD LISTENER, THOROUGH, ANALYTICAL TO NOW BECOME A MACHINE FROM LEGGO FACTORY. APPOINTMENTS WERE BARRED BY HIS OFFICE MANAGER BECAUSE I HAVE OBAMACARE. WHEN THAT OFFICE MANAGER WAS OBLIGED TO VERIFY, OBAMACARE OR NOT, THIS PATIENT IS INSURED. IT TOOK A LAPSE OF SIX MONTHS BEFORE I COULD FINALLY ASK AND GET AN APPOINTMENT. THOSE SIX MONTHS WITHOUT A CARDIOLOGIST, WHILE ALL IN THE WHILE HIS OFFICE MANAGER SWORE THAT OBAMACARE DID NOT COVER MY MEDICAL CHECKS UPS, COST ME 1800 DOLLARS THROWN DOWN THE DRAIN. THE STAFF IS FROZEN, PANICKY, FEARING OF GETTING FIRED AT THE INSTANCE OF THE OFFICE MANAGER. COURTEOUS THESE PEOPLE ARE NOT, JUST BARELY SPEAK TO GET THE JOB DONE AND FEAR AND CONTEMPT IS PALPABLE. WHAT WAS ONCE THE DOCTOR'S NOTORIOUS PLEASANTNESS IT IS NOW A COMPUTER TAKING THE BLOOD PRESSURE AND LISTENING THROUGH THE STETOSCOPE. THERE IS BARELY ANY COMMUNICATION EXCHANGED IF AT ALL. DR. MAKES ME FEEL CHEAP AND UNCARED FOR. SINCE HE GOT THIS OFFICE… MANAGER, ALEX- A WIG WEARING SPECTECLED LITTLE MAN WHO HAS NO PUBLIC RELATIONS CAPABILITY OR TALENT, THE DR.'S ACCESSABILY, DEMEANOR, OFFICE STAFF AMBIANCE, ABILITY TO COMMUNICATE AND DELIVER SERVICES THAT INSPIRE TRUST AND THROUGHNESS HAVE GONE IN A DOWNWARD VERTICAL SPIRAL. I TRULY FEEL SORRY FOR THE DOCTOR. PROSPECTIVE PATIENT, YOU DESERVE BETTER.

Falta de profesionalismo en toda la palabra. No fui bien atendida desde el momento que llegue a la consulta ni por sus asistentes ni por el doctor, me tomo la presion con el brazo en el aire y sin ver resultados de analisis ni saber el motivo de mi consulta me.dijo que no tenia nada y a penas me.atendio. Es una pena no deberia dar consultas ademas de esperar casi 4 horas para que me.asistiera..... Lo peor.......

Went in because of chest pains. Did some tests that revealed the issue wasn't my heart. Of course I was terrified but this doctor didn't take advantage and force unnecessary tests to pad his own pocket.

without even listening to me, told me i would die without a stress test and other heart tests. came in and walked out of the exam room several times during my appt. that lasted about 5 minutes. i later found out he sent me to a diagnostic center he works with. do not like, do not trust.
