I was reading others reviews and saw some negative results from them. I myself have seen Dr. Chen for 20 - 25 years and all I have are great things to say about him. He has done several surgeries for me. He has treated me for several illnesses. He has a wonderful bedside manner. He has me come back every 3 months to check on my medication which I feel is a good thing. I even had my daughter go to him, and he also did surgeries for her also. All I can say is he is an excellent Dr.

as my body deteriorated over the course of 4 years, he consistently blamed the pain and numbness on my weight, never getting past the fact that a was slightly overweight for my height, never ordering tests or follow- up visits. Needless to say, I found a new doctor when things progressed, and within 6 weeks, had my diagnosis and a treatment plan in place. I really wonder where I would be if I had found out sooner. I have heard from others in town, that he has blamed their problems on their weight as well, when there were, in fact, underlying issues. Also, from another, he stated that he was a retired OB/GYN, and not able to handle their conditions. Which is funny, considering that my best friend seen him for a pregnancy, and almost immediately afterword for a complete hysterectomy, and forgot the follow up exams. If she had not sought out other care, she would have had real trouble. I think the only reason this man has not been sued is that this is a small rural community with… a lot of low income people who can't afford food and electric, let alone an attorney. Use caution for anything more serious than a runny nose.
