It has been years since I've met someone who exemplifies all the qualities of a true man of medicine. Dr. Sussman's kindness, sense of humor, manor, compassion, and knowledge are so refreshing in the medical profession today. He takes time to listen, respond, and educate - wonderful communicator and person.

Dr. Sussman is quite a rare professional find in my experience as a doctor. He has an easy country demeanor, is very respectful, is very precise, explains medical challenges you are facing and diagnoses plainly and simply for easy understanding. He ensures that other medical professionals are giving you his patient what you need. He is genuinely concerned about your progress and follows up with his patients dogmatically even if that costs him sleep or causes very late night consultations based on what has occurred in his day. He is a doctor you can depend on and if fact he saved my life. I would highly recommend Dr. Sussman to anyone who needs to see a nephrology specialist because he is indeed special.

Dr Sussman listens to the patient - he educates the patient & family in terms to be understood . Dr S makes you feel safe in the throws of crisis , he instill trust. .

In 1979 I became very sick which turned out to be glomerulonephritis. I was only 10 years old and was very afraid. I spent 4 weeks at University hospital on the 4th floor and then could not return to school for the year. Dr. Sussman was very nice and was very good. I believe it was his inspiration on me is why I decided to become a nurse. I love would to see hime again just to say Thank you.

Dr. sussan is an old fashion doctor who cares for his patient. He provided wonderful care and support for my mother. I would recommend him highly.

Dr Sussman took over my care after my Doctor passed away. My first appointment lasted over an hour and I felt so reassured that I was in good hands and he knew my medical issues inside and out. He reviewed my extensive Prescriptions and went over each one and even told me the best times to take them. When I was hospitalized for several surgerys he stopped by everyday to review my labs. When I was discharged he would call me at home to make adjustments as needed.He is brillant and I feel so blessed to be in his care.

A great doctor and to the point. Don't ask a question you do not want an answered, accurately. Real pleasure to have him on my side, very experienced. Never fails to completely explain my condition. If I do not understand his explanation, he will review it with me again in an easier to understand definition. I feel he wants me to understand his diagnosis, so I am not in fear of eventualities which may occur. Disciplined and dogmatic about what information he needs from me to help him prescribe the best care and he will keep reminding you until he gets it.
