Dr. Ian Loxton Bourhill, MD

He didn’t introduce himself, just walked in and said” I’m here just sew you up”. I asked his name and he still didn’t speak to me and his medical assistant had to tell me his name. I don’t care how the incision heals it wasn’t worth it. I am more than an open wound laying on a table that needs to be closed. Every patient deserves to be treated with dignity and respect and be spoken to by their doctor. I wasn’t asking for tea and biscuits when he walked in, I was only asking for an introduction to a plastic surgeon who is going to sew up my face. As a healthcare provider myself I am shocked by his behavior and will not recommend him to anyone , regardless of how my incision heals. I would like to add that my suture line looks like it could have been sewn up better by a first year resident.

Dr. Bourhill is professional, pleasant, knowledgeable and a good listener. He is patient, answered all questions and discussed a plan that I was comfortable with. I look forward to my follow up visit to discuss next steps and diagnostic studies are completed.

Dr. Bourhill is a gem. Everytime I was in the office I was in and out in less than 25 minutes. The office is clean and organized. CANNOT reccomend higher.

I found Dr Bourbill to be professional and extremely competent. I had to get 7 stitches under my eye after mohs surgery. It’s several months later and I can barely see a scar. I am very pleased with his work. I will definitely go back to him should I ever need plastic surgery. Office staff was pleasant and procedure was prompt.

FAST FORWARD A YEAR AND AN ADDED BENEFIT OF THE SURGERY WAS HAVING NO DARK CRCLE UNDER THAT EYE. TO ME IT WAS NOTICEABLE; ONE EYE LOOKED GOOD W/O ANY MAKEUP AND THE OTHER I HAD TO LAYER CONCEALER ON. BACK TO DR BOURHILL W/ THE REQUEST TO MAKE THEM THE SAME. NOT COVERED BY INSURANCE BUT WELL WORTH IT, ONLY A MONTH AGO AND ALREADY LOOKS GOOD. HAVE THE FEELING I'LL BE BACK AS TIME PASSES!
