Waited 4 hours past our appointment time to be seen for the doctor to spend 3 minutes in our room never actually touching or assessing my son. My son was to be seen for the RATE of his head growth, the doctor only talked about the overall size which he thought was why we were there, when I told him it was the rate he didn’t say a word just for us to come back in 3 months and left the room. He was rushed and clearly over booked and had terrible bedside manner. We had a follow up visit with my sons PCP after this visit and his PCP personally called the office to have a few words with them and is now in swarm of another pediatric neurosurgeon for us to have a second opinion because I refuse to go back to children’s hospital of Pittsburgh.

My son will walk because of this man

This doctor was a complete waste of time. He had the diagnosis correct, only because it came from a previous doctor. He did not do an exam and seemed rushed while he was in the room. He stumbled over his words when I asked a question he clearly could not answer. He minimized the issue and kept telling me not to worry. Of course I am going to worry when my child has multiple serious brain conditions! Upon a second opinion, we found out there are several more equally as serious issues going on that he never even mentioned (which showed up on the same MRI that he saw). This is not someone I trust, recommend or will see again. A zero out of five rating is more fitting than a one out of five.

we met him when my son had a accident and was lifeflighted to childrens and by Gods grace we got Dr. Pollack, we were minutes away from losing our 14 yr old, and dr pollack saved his life. He is courteous, concerned, and very down to earth. Explained everything to us. I would recommended him to everyone. Thank God he was the Dr we got. Cause when there is a emergency you turn your child over to drs. you dont know. And after surgery he came out and talked to us as if he had always known us.

Like others have commented, he is worth the wait.

I would wait all week and travel from anywhere to see him. He is the best.

He's an AMAZING doctor. I put my daughter's life in his hands and he gave her back to me!!
