Dr. Ian John Reynolds, MD

8 months ago I broke my ankle running on Galveston Beach. I commented on Dr. Reynolds previously and his Exceptional competence displayed in previous treatment. I moved to another area but Dr. Reynolds was never off my radar. After the foot was diagnosed at a standing ER , next day I called to see if Dr. Reynolds could see me,his staff graciously worked me in. Dr. R. Treated me until the break was healed. Then I described a problem in the region that caused pain is wasn’t the bone but attachments like the tendons. He confirmed what he suspected and performed surgery. I kept a pictorial record of the healing over the 4 months, he was so thorough and tomorrow I’ll see him for the last time for my ankle. It is about a 3 hour trip to hear and it has been no problem for me. I cannot give Dr, Reynolds more kudos or recommend him most strongly. I’m making a coffee table book on orthopedic surgery pictures of healings and horrors

I commented on this page a while back. Although I moved out of Dr. Reynolds area, he was never off my radar. I was unfortunate enough to break my ankle in Galveston where I love to run. I went to the er clinic then went to Dr. Reynolds. He was glad to treat me and followed through til healing of the break. Under his watchful eye I made a complaint that there was some other factor impairing my balance and I was in pain. He knew what it was when he examined my ankle and scheduled me for surgery, the healing time was predicted 3-4 months. I traveled 3 hrs to every appointment because I Know how competent he is. I live in College Station TX and have pictures of incompetence of orthopedic surgeons there that are horrific, staph infections . I kept my specialist here when I need one. The drive is no skin off my back. I recorded pictures weekly of my foot healing and and may make a coffee table book of all the healing that has come from the hands of Dr. Reynolds. Thank you

I have been a patient of his sense 2009 he has done a lot of surgeries on my spine including 2 spinal fusions, if you want the best dr for any orthopedic problems this is the Dr to see guaranteed and the staff is excellent, Buddy H.

He is a known crook/excessive cutter. Not current in . Stay away!

Kind knowledgeable A great doctor

I was a patient of Dr. Reynolds after a bad fall down the stairs. He did a Lamanectomy, repaired a broken bone in my wrist. repaired a torn meniscus among many orthopedic problems that resulted from the fall. In all with his recommended Physical Therapy, I was not only mended but incredibly thankful to Dr.Reynolds and all his associates, in office and surgical staff. I was treated in a most excellent way. I cannot say enough good things. I have plenty of my records to prove I was his patient.

It is a pleasant office with friendly staff. Having read the reviews I almost cancelled my appointment but i'm glad I didn't. Dr. Reynolds took the time to explain the problem with my back and has advised physical therapy. Thank you!

He did horrible surgery on my friend's spine. The screws came out and pressed on her nerves and he put the cage in the wrong place. He told her she was fine. After she couldn't take the pain anymore, another doctor told her scar tissue covered the screws, nothing could be done. She would be in pain the rest of her life. Due to depression about that and losing her job, doctors gave her sleep meds, depression meds and anxiety meds along with meds for bp. One day she just didn't wake up. She was 32 yrs old and left a nine yr old daughter. Beware!!

Horrible doctor - walked out of the office as I was speaking to him. I had a temporary cast on when I went to see him and he wanted me to take it off myself and thew a walking boot in my direction and walked out a second time. I went in with a broken leg and got less than a total of 2 minutes with the doctor. I left there not knowing how bad my leg was. The answers I did get from him were so bad. I went to another doctor and was told that had I followed Dr Reynolds advise I would have ended in bad shape and would have ended up having surgery and had pins/screws in my leg. Then as I was leaving I had to stand (w/ a broken leg) at the front desk for 25 minutes for them to figure out how to charge me. Did I mention one of his employees was taking a nap in the room in which I was being see by the doctor. ZERO Star review!!!DO NOT see this doctor!!!
