Dr. Wilkofsky professionally explained the procedures for my upcoming right knee replacement and put me at ease during the counseling session. He answered all my questions to my satisfaction.

Dr. Wilkofsky is the most concerned, caring physician I’ve ever visited. He’s bent over backwards to provide me with a functioning pain free shoulder. I recommend him highly as he is a skilled orthopedic surgeon and a man who delivers care both emotionally and physically.

I had my second knee replacement in Jan 2020. Dr Wilkofsky did both the first and the second. It takes awhile to recover, but the first worked out so well I wanted to have the same surgeon do the second one. It's been a little over a month now and things are progressing well. I would recommend Dr Wilkofsky, Orthopedic Associates of Flower Mound and Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital to anyone needing knee surgery.

It was quick, professional and always on time. I will definitely refer anyone to them and will use them again in the future if I am still in the area and need their assistance.

My athlete has a “boxer’s fracture”. Bone had a complete fracture. 1st visit we were told, we we could do surgery and put a pin in it but I think we should just put it in a cast for two weeks and even though it won’t be healed you can get back on the field and just be careful. I should have run at that point. But because my entire family has been seen by numerous doctors in this practice I let him cast him and came back two weeks later, thinking I will push for a more conservative approach to return to sports. The result of the repeat X-ray today, showed some healing but still very clearly fractured. About typical for 2 weeks post injury. This “doctor”(I use that term lightly) wanted to send my 17 year old out of the office, with nothing on his hand and told him just be careful to not hit it. He’s a 17 year old and the break is on his glove hand. Every time he catches a ball there is an impact to that hand! Every time he hits a ball there is an impact to that hand. I tried to explain… that to him. The comments I got were condescending and I was referred to as “my dear” multiple times. It’s healing and he will be fine as long as he doesn’t hit it but if it will make you “feel better” I can cast it for two more weeks. As my blood was boiling at this point I asked for a splint and copies of my xrays, we will be seeing the new doctor at a new practice Monday. It’s a shame that a practice my family of 5 has been going to for a multiple issues from broken bones to knee surgeries to hip replacements with countless referrals to friends is losing us due to this irresponsible approach to patient care. I love the staff at orthopedic associates but won’t be back because this experience.

From my first visit to my most recent Dr. Wilkofsky is kind, gentle and gets to the point. If you have a problem he addresses it right away and fixes it if he can which in my case he has always done. I appreciate being treated with respect and having my issues addressed immediately as he does. Very happy with my choice!
