After visiting the ER I was told I needed emergency back surgery and I am so thankful that Dr. Omeis was the surgeon at Lancaster General that day. He explained everything in great detail before and after the operation and for the first time in years I no longer suffer from back pain. He is an amazing, caring, and attentive doctor that I would highly recommend to anyone needing care in his specialty.

Dr. Omeis is caring, competent and a complete gentlemen. I credit him with saving my life. He is a awesome neurosurgeon, who will make time for any patient as well as answer questions from family members. He explains the diagnosis and treatment options well, and, definitely instills confidence and trust in patients with his experience, knowledge and surgical skills. He seems a little on the cautious side, and if he can help you, he will, and if he thinks you would be better off with a different surgeon, he will refer you. I'm sad he's leaving Houston, and hope I can travel to wherever his new office is for my annual follow-up visits. Without his surgical intervention six years ago with my spinal cord tumors and tethered spinal cord, I would not be functioning now. I have all the respect in the world for this surgeon and he treats each patient as if they are a VIP.

Number 1 Surgeon, he performed Lumbar Spine Surgery and Cervical Diskectomy both at the same time procedure went great after having pain for 27years and taking pain meds to now taking nothing at all and have no pain anywhere. After the procedure he came to see how I was doing in recovery and has to this day still he or his nurse calls me to see if everything okay. Thank you Dr. O for being such an outstanding surgeon you are the best and so are all your staff.

Dr Omeis was referred to me be my Primary Doctor. I have a very painful hemangioma on my tailbone. I am desperate to get this fixed, as it has consumed my life.. I want to know if he has done this type of surgery before and the success rate

Dr. Omeis was very knowledgable and comforting of what the outcomes were possible for performing an emergency surgery for bone flap due to my husband having a massive ischemic stroke. He was very confident that my husband would be ok and reassurance that recovering would have great results. A year later from surgery and my husband is doing good.
