As a long-term patient, I have chronic gout and require daily medication to manage my condition. Failure to take this medication can result in severe knee swelling and excruciating pain. During my recent visit, I requested permission to defer payment until my next appointment due to my irregular pay schedule. Unfortunately, an unforeseen event occurred when my wife became ill and was admitted to the hospital. This necessitated the postponement of my prescription pickup. Today, I contacted the office to request the prescription be called in for collection on my way home from work. The receptionist acknowledged my request and promised to contact me once she had located my information. However, after an hour of waiting I had to call them myself, I was then informed that I would… be required to pay my $75 balance to obtain my medication, despite the fact that Okafor had already written a prescription for it. This incident underscores the facility’s apparent disregard for patient well-being in favour of financial considerations. It is unacceptable that the well-being and ability to work are deemed less important than a mere $75. This revelation serves as a stark reminder of the type of medical facility this is.

I was diagnosed with blood clots in my leg and the meds made me bleed internally. Dr. O admitted me to hospital and took care of me and got the bleeding stopped and found the cause. Caring and kind. He also found my husband's kidney cancer through testing. He will always be my doctor.

I had to make a visit to get my blood pressure under control for an employer. I was a walk-in patient and was very pleased at how fast the doctor got to me. The staff was very friendly and helped me get the information that I needed. I will be making this my family doctor as soon as my insurance is active.

I was given an appt. Had to wait FOREVER! Was misdiagnosed. His staff is lazy and rude! I DO NOT recommend this place at all!
