Beyond an excellent doc

He figured out the issue and made me feel good about the prognosis.

I have been an RN for 44 yrs, worked in several hospitals and have sought care for myself and family with a variety of MD's. Dr Acosta is the best at diagnosing, reassuring patients, surgical interventions and outcomes. He has compassion, empathy and is current on medical information.Myself, mother, father and daughter have all received excellent care from him. If we could clone Doctors, he would get my first vote.

Dr. Acosta is an amazing and knowledgeable Doctor. Went in to get a second opinion about removing my gall bladder and he told me I didn't have to do it. That there was nothing wrong with it. Perhaps I was misdiagnosed by the previous doctor. I was so happy and comfortable with his opinions. Definitely takes the time to listen to your needs and concerns.

I could go on and on about how fantastic Dr. Acosta is. He and his staff are fabulous. I trust him whole heartedly.

Not only is he a great surgeon, he is a wonderful caring man. I have never worked with a surgeon who has as much compassion.

I have gone to Dr. Acosta for years and he is the best doctor I have. I have consulted with him on medical issues outside of his area of expertise and he has always been able to provide me with information that helps me. In office visits, he takes the time to respond to my questions. His bedside manner is wonderful and I couldn't recommend a physician more highly.

This office is not organized. I requested information be transferred to my new Dr and they can't not seem to fax it. The office staff never smiles. They are young and do not have any manners. The Drs are knowledgeable but the staff can't relay any information other than what is you birthdate. Dr is busy and you co pay. Run from this office.

Dr. Acosta is in a class of his own in terms all that one would want when seeking treatment and evaluation for a potentially serious condition. His knowledge & diagnostic process are obviously top rate & he is a very effective communicato, with an empathetic, kind and unhurried manner. I felt that he really took time to evaluate the particulars, individuality AND totality of my specific history and current test results. He first gave me an understanding of my condition that was a sea change for me, despite considerable efforts to educate myself in the past few years. He then discussed his recommendations for me with the same level of thoughtfulness and sharp analysis. My pre-appointment worries and apprehension were replaced by a sense of much greater understanding, and overall feeling of being someone who was "empowered" thanks to the information and high caliber approach of Dr. Acosta.

Cannot thank Dr. Acosta enough for the time and care that he provided. He spent the time to explain the entire procedure which reduced a lot of the stress I had built up mentally. When you are in the office, you do not have the feeling that he is in a rush to see another patient. He wants you to be at ease. He even took the time to make my 5 year old son feel comfortable on the follow up appointment after the surgery. When the hospital staff go out of their way to inform you that you are in great hands, it just confirms what you feel about him performing the procedure.
