Dr. Ijeoma Orakwusi Nduka, MD

Dr. Nduka has been my physician for many years. She is very professional and caring and proficient when she provides a diagnosis that requires follow up. There have been changes in her office staff that now make the entire process of having to go for a check up a relatively easy process. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an Internist.

I went to visit this Dr for the first time for an annual physical. The whole operation is lacking particularly the Dr. They sent me to the Lab for my work up but did not inform the lab which required me to sit there an extra 45 minutes for them to get the office to send over the paperwork. In addition to that, after my lab report was received by the office, I called every week for a month for the Dr to provide my results and never received a call back, as promised. I ended up asking that they provide a print out of my results and I would do the research myself. They agreed to that and told me what time to pick it up. Once I got there, they again had me waiting for 45 minutes and everytime I went to the window they would tell me I would have to wait. Finally they told me I could go back to see the Dr. for her to tell me she was sitting with a patient and I would have to wait further for her to review it with me. By the way, this was already a month after my visit and happen to be… during my lunch break. I explained I had no more time to spare and that I have been patient enough. The Dr. then signed the lab report and gave it to me without review. I think she is the worst doctor I've come across in my lifetime. I would never recommend her to anyone.

Been trying to get a "PA" Prior Authorization to a prescription already given by her Nurse Practitioner for over 3 Weeks. Can't get any help

WONDERFUL DOCTOR, WONDERFUL STAFF will highly recommend her she takes time to explain things to patients and is very patient and a sweetheart

Dr. Nduka has been my primary physician for over ten years. Her office staff are all very friendly, patient, and helpful; better yet, they remember you when you return for visits. Dr. Nduka herself is very easy to talk to; she takes the time to sort out complicated issues. Because she takes the time to do things right, and many of her patients have complex issues, her schedule often runs quite far behind; this is the only complaint I have, and she's well worth the wait. She's not afraid to refer you to a specialist when you have something that's beyond her field of practice; all the specialists she has referred me to over the years have been Good Doctors. She also is active in community health work, and goes on mission trips annually to Nigeria and Haiti. I'd happily recommend Dr. Nduka to anyone.

Dr. Nduka has been my personal physician for four years. She has a wonderful bedside manner, and is a good clinician, patient with problems like asthma that take a while to sort out and get under control. When I come up with something out of her specialty, she's always taken the time to recommend other good doctors.
