WARNING: HOPEFUL PARENTS PLEASE, I BEG YOU, READ THIS REVIEW IN ITS ENTIRETY BEFORE YOU DECIDE TO MOVE FORWARD WITH THIS CLINIC!!! Please don't hesitate to contact me with ANY questions regarding this establishment. Like many hopeful parents my husband and I scoured the internet, read reviews, requested consultations to increase our chances of a successful pregnancy. Despite the negative feedback you sometimes read, you never quite tuck it away but moreso leave it 'on reserve'. I am providing my personal experiences with IHR for hopeful parents. I too was in your shoes and wanted the best care possible and was willing to pay whatever in order to get it. Over the course of my treatment with this practice I had at least 24 documented complaints in a 4 month time span. The biggest issues I experienced with this clinic were: Lack of patient education, incorrect medicine calendars, delayed follow-ups, misadvised with medication(s) to take, bedside manners, and pure NEGLIGENCE.

What Dr. Tur-Kaspa has done for us is nothing short of a miracle. With and AMH of 0.2ng/mL at age 35 we had little to no hope to ever become parents. Most Dr’s wouldn’t even see us or let us try. Their practices wouldn’t take us, for fear of their own statistics being affected, and were encouraged to seek donor eggs. This news was both heartbreaking and surreal. Dr. Tur-Kaspa patiently explained us the process, patiently answered all of our questions and set realistic expectations. But most importantly he gave us a chance. Dr. Tur-Kaspa is well known as one of the best Dr’s in the field and it shows. His compassionate, caring and loving demeanor gave us strength to move forward. He was with us every step of the way, and there are not enough words to express our deep appreciation and gratitude we feel for him and his entire team. Our first retrieval resulted in one oocyte that sadly did not fertilize. He changed the protocol and our second retrieval resulted in 2 oocytes, one that… did not fertilize and one that did, but did not make it past day 3. We were heart broken. The nurse in me seriously started to consider the prospect using an egg donor, reality is that my number were really low to begin with, and to add to the problem I was now a poor responder. Dr. Tur-Kaspa believed in me and I believed in his knowledge and extensive experience. We decided to give it another try, each time with a new medicine protocol. This time our retrieval resulted in 5 oocytes! 3 of which fertilized and made is to day 5. Two weeks later the PGD test results came back and the were ALL healthy! We could believe it! He literally made the impossible happen. Now with the remarkable chance we could have 2 children, we went for retrieval #4, which also resulted in 5 oocytes retrieved! This time 3 fertilized and 2 made it to day 5. The PGD test results informed us that both of our embryos were healthy, so we now have 5 beautiful, high quality embryos! We can’t contain our happiness, joy and gratitude for Dr. Tur-Kaspa and his team. They were accommodating to my work schedule for monitoring, the plans were easy to follow, and our questions were always answered in a timely fashion through the portal. I sincerely don’t know if I had the strength to go through it all if it wasn’t for Dr. Tur-Kaspa and his team. We are forever grateful to them. Dr. Tur-Kaspa, words cannot express our gratitude! Your life-giving work made our miracle happen well beyond our set goals at the beginning of this journey. Thank you for your continuous support, love and care you have given us. None of this would be possible if it wasn’t for you! We look forward to the next steps in our journey & for the day we will introduce our babies to you!

If not busy you will be in and out in less than 15 minutes. My husband and I are extremely happy with our experience with Dr. Tur-Kaspa. After trying for at least 2 and half years in another facility of trying the natural way and other medication that was prescribed. We never imagine that IVF was going to be an option for us. Its never an easy road to go through especially when going through IVF but having Dr. Tur-Kaspa is finally a breath of fresh air, as he has a great sense of humor as he took our worries away, especially my husband. Dr. Tur-Kaspa is an honest, empathic, funny, and has the patience to answer any questions we had throughout the process and the reality of my situation as he confirmed and educated us on what we didn't know, he eased our minds as he was highly knowledgeable in his field. He gave the best possible options and didn't want to waste time on certain procedures or medications that would not work for us due to his past experience with many of… his patients. The entire staff at IHR have been pleasant and comforting, compassionate and helpful in every aspect, also his associate: Dr. Cohen. We are finally pregnant. My husband and I are so glad and satisfied that the entire staff during the whole process of our IVF journey have met beyond our expectations. I would definitely recommend Dr. Tur-Kaspa.

After years of fertility treatments including multiple IUIâ??s and 4 failed IVFâ??s at a well respected fertility doctor in Chicago, and being told weâ??d likely never have our own biological child, we decided we needed a second opinion and found Dr. Tur-Kaspa. He is a miracle worker. He listened to our story, took lots of notes, and sympathized with our tears. He acknowledged that we were a challenging case, but that never slowed him down. Heâ??s objective, brilliant, very confident, and a very sweet man. His prescriptions were different and within a few short months we were pregnant with our daughter and we are overjoyed and thankful every day. Dr. Tur-Kaspa made our dreams come true.

First consultation was on Wednesday and he was great!! Husband and I loved the way he explained what is going to happened and that Friday (which is today) I had lab work done and an ultrasound. I am waiting on results, which i was told i will be getting today sometime before 4:30!!..

He facilitated leaving another fertility clinic and going to him at v short notice. Very kind and professional. Staff were great. And sucess!! I'm pregnant with Twins!!

Dr. Ilhan Tur-Kaspa was a wonderful specialist for me in my journey to becoming pregnant. We had been with a previous specialist but we had a cancelled cycle and I felt it was due to his inattention to detail. I started searching for IVF statistics for different clinics in Chicago on the CDC website and Dr. Turkaspa had some of the best success rates in Chicago. I scheduled an appointment with his staff and everything was a smooth transition. Dr Tur-Kaspa was very courteous with the way he spoke with my husband and I about the process. Whatever questions I had, he would answer them and he always had a professional demeanor. He also had a great rapport with my husband, making jokes and making him comfortable with the whole process as well. He retrieved 39 eggs and out of that two embryos survived to 5 days. The fresh embryo did not work out but the 2nd one, which was frozen, turned into a successful pregnancy! I am eternally grateful to Dr. Tur-Kaspa for all he has done… for me and my family. I would highly recommend him to anyone else looking for a solution to infertility.

Dr. Tur-Kaspa and his staff are amazing. Dr. Tur-Kaspa never insisted on any expensive treatments. To the contrary, he suggested that we tried IUI first. We became pregnant after the first attempt. Our beautiful baby boy was born at the end of this May. We are extremely grateful to Dr. Tur-Kaspa. We highly recommend him.

The office might be a little casual--and appointments sometimes take longer than expected--but don't be fooled. That's exactly why they can cure even the hardest cases--they're flexible and individualized. With premature ovarian failure, all the statistics said that I had literally zero chance of conceiving a child with my own eggs, even with the best fertility treatments. Most clinics said they could only help me if I were willing to use donor eggs. But Dr. Tur-Kaspa was willing to try with my own eggs. After I failed to respond to even the most aggressive standard protocol, he devised an experimental treatment for me based on some recent studies. The result: we're currently pregnant with fraternal twins! With a third perfect embryo frozen for future use. Even he seemed a little amazed at the results. It's extraordinary.

Amazing Dr and Clinic. The work they do is great. They are caring, kind and supportive through whatever obstacles you need to get through. If you can't get pregnant or need some PGD testing to make sure you have a healthy baby, this is the clinic to go to.
