Dr. Ilana Addis

This doctor treated me with respect, and explained things well. Office staff and medical assistant were also kind and professional. I am happy with my experience and will be going back.

She is unbelievably bad. No interest in patient care. She makes almost 500K at the UA Clinic, and she is the worst doctor and specialist one can imagine.

I would like to share my experience with Dr. Addis. When I first met with Dr. Addis, she was direct and to the point. She was not bubbly or super friendly and that was alright with me because she was efficient, thorough and the right amount of nice! I recently switched doctors to Dr. Addis due to a change of my insurance providers. She confirmed everything that my prior doctor stated and immediately scheduled me for a hysterectomy. If you want a doctor that is straightforward and gets to the point of finding a resolution for you. I would definitely recommend Dr. Addis. If you want to be pacified or stroked, Dr.Addis is not the doctor for you.

Addis is a fatigued, overworked, and incompetent buffoon that treated me horribly during a new patient visit last year. I was appalled at how rudely she talked to me, and every time I would try to ask a question for clarification she would scream "HOLD ON, DON'T YOU SEE MY COMPUTER IS SLOW". I mean Jesus, I just wanted a few minutes of time to get my questions answered and she wouldn't have any of it. I will NEVER go back. No wonder why she practices in academic medicine, she would never be able to survive in a private practice.

Dr. Addis listened to my issues, was very professional in discussing treatment options, of which I elected to have a hysterectomy. I found her engaging and a wonderful physician who I recommend. I have absolutely no negative comments about Dr. Addis or her staff. I would send my daughters to her!

Don't get her angry by going there. She'll make sure you know you're not welcomed. Uncaring and lazy. She didn't want to go over my chart but just do the least for you. Like I said don't show up is your best kindness to this woman.

Uncaring, unprofesional, bad attitude, She won't be bothered. She won't look at your medical record or lab tests. She asks you when was the last time you were there and questions that should be pulled from the chart. She won't look to see if you're allergic to something before she prescribes. She won't return questions left for her on the phone.

She is a horrible docotor obviously does not know how to read. Gives horrible suggestions if I was not educated in the medical field I would die with her incompetence. Please don't waste your time and money. Remember if more then 1 person is saying the is bad she probably is.

Dr. Addis has horrible bedside manner and was 6 hours late with my surgery. I wish I would have been more informed because the surgery I ended up having was not needed. Doesn't even bother to look at you when you are in an appointment with her. I went to her for GYN issues rather than OB and cannot imagine having her deliver any of my future children, or any children for that matter.

After appts for diagnosis and another for preop, Dr Addis showed up on the day of surgery and announced she only wanted to do half of what was necessary (things she could have discussed with me at preop). After letting her know that was not okay, she announced OUT LOUD in front of 3 other women in preop that I had genital warts. Not only did she violate my right to privacy, she was inappropriate and unprofessional. She is an embarrassment to good GYN doctos everywhere.
