Dr. Ilana Lisa Tamir Kirsch, MD

I would like to say that Dr Kirsch is a wonderful doctor she delivered both of my boys and has a wonderful bedside manner. I even ran into her after my first son at the mall and she walked completely across the mall to see how I was doing.When I would have my exams I would feel completely comfortable with her she would talk me through everything. I do not know where people are coming from saying she has a bad bedside manner I think she is a wonderful doctor.

She makes you feel safe and comfortable even in the most uncomfortable moments. She is so professional and knowledgeable but also personable. She helped me through a very trying time in my life and is now walking with me through my first pregnancy. I would recommend her to any of my friends or family members. I absolutely love her!

Dr. Kirsch is very supportive of her patients' choices, but I appreciate that she refuses to let you make an uninformed decision. I'm so pleased I found her practice!

This is an absolute disgrace or a doctors office. It starts with their front office staff. Inappropriate , as I could listen to them discussing how their dint like to touch overweight patients. Rude office staff that belittles their patients and treats them with no respect. The doctor was not much different.

This "so called doctor" not only has no bedside manner but is so rude, I would never recommend her as an OB to anyone. I took my daughter and future son-in-law in for a consult as a first time mom-to-be and have never been treated so badly by anyone. I actually walked out partway through the appointment. She never took the time to introduce herself, was rude to her nurse, refused to call me by my name, refused to acknowledge that we were Catholic and that we were not interested in genetic testing for the unborn baby (as an abortion was not going to be an option for the mom and dad to be) and she discussed the fact that she would make sure that they didn't "let this happen again". We are thrilled with the upcoming pregnancy. We were not sure why that was something that needed to be discussed at the first appointment of a pregnancy. Needless to say, we found another doctor immediately and pulled all of our insurance paperwork from her office. She is a nightmare. I would RUN- don't… walk to anyone but this woman!!!!

She is amazingly caring. I have referred many, many friends to her as well.

Kirsh ignored my fears and valid concerns when I saw her before getting pregnant saying all will be ok. During honey moon I got pregnant and ran to her as soon as I found out about it myself. She did not find time to see me. When the spotting started, Kirsch was not available! Later she send me to give blood and only called to inform that I am experiencing the symptoms of miscarriage. Kirsch has not found time for me! Kirsch has ignored my concerns and let the miscarriage happen! Avoid her like a plague, because trusting her will cost you your baby!

This woman is a nightmare. A friend saw her and because she questioned some of her practices she was essentially 'fired' as a patient in the midst of a deep PP depression to boot. This woman has no bedside manner and no courtesy or compassion. God complex anyone?

When Dr Kirsch diagnosed my miscarriage, she was so incredibly sensitive and compassionate. I know she probably deals with people having miscarriages all the time, but she made me feel like she really cared about me as a person and shared my grief. She spent extra time with me even though I know she had other patients waiting, just so she could comfort me and answer all my questions without rushing. Then she called me at home the next day, just to make sure I was doing ok. Dr Kirsch has been my doctor for many years and I have referred all my friends to her as well. We all agree that she's the greatest!

I am high risk for ectopic since I have had repair surgery on my fallopian tubes. After an early pregnancy beta (after a positive hpt) returned a low number I started bleeding and cramping. I called Dr. Kirsch and she said it was not a miscarriage but a chemical and I never should have tested so early because I never would have known. She didn't want me to come in to see for sure if I was miscarrying or to run any extra tests, she completely dismissed me. She told me there was absolutely NO way I was pregnant and to count my bleeding as the start of my cycle. So that weekend I had my normal menstrual cycle drinks (I only drink during menstrual since I am ttc). The bleeding only lasted 24 hours. My cervix was still high and soft so I took another hpt and got a clear as day line, as well as on three more. I called her back and she basically called me a crazy liar, asking why would I even test again? I explained to her my period never really started and my cervix was still soft. She acted… horrified that I checked my cervix position (a very common ttc method used to confirm ovulation). She then said the lines, "if in fact there are any" must just be residual and to not even call again for two weeks, she reiterated that there was NO way I was pregnant. I contacted the doctor who performed my surgery and he said it was way too early for her to be making any claims for certain and that I really needed to continue monitoring my hcg levels. My lines kept getting darker so I went to an urgent care center and confirmed that I was in fact still pregnant. So I call Dr. Kirsch back with the results from the urgent care center and finally she tells me to come in for a repeat beta on a Friday. I go in and the lab tech says the results will be back in that day, I call later and find out that Dr. Kirsch doesn't even work on Fridays, and even though they had the results (the beta number) on the desk, noone there would give them to me. I seriously have never been to a worse doctor, and I have seen a lot of doctors in my life. She made a mistake in her DX and refused to admit it, a horrible trait in a Doctor.
