Dr. Leonard Robert Ferguson, MD

I honestly don't know why there are any negative comments about Dr. Ferguson. He jokes around alot. He's got a goofy side to him. He delivered my third child, and I had a very pleasant experience with him. He was a great doctor. I would definitely recommend him to anyone that is pregnant. He is professional, and honest. You can't always listen to the negative reviews.

Had been experiencing pain in my lower abdomen for about six months. my family doctor refered me to dr ferguson. I did not like his bed side manner. when I told him about the pain he said I would probably have to live with it. AS a last minute jesture he said my pain might be a pelvic prolapse and he told me to stick my fingers in my vagina after urinating and feel for prolapse. told I could push it back with a tampon He said if it is there he most certainly take my uterus out.. Why didn't he feel for prolapse and no I will not let him take my uterus out!!!!

I went to Dr. Ferguson for my 1st pregnancy. On the first appointment he was called in by the nurse to look at my ultrasound pictures. After glancing at them he turned to me and my husband and flat out said, "I'm going to tell you right now that there is no baby." What a way to tell someone that they are going to miscarry! He then proceeded to ask me if I only peed on a stick and never got anything confirmed. He has no bedside manners at all! At first he was concerned I had a tubular pregnancy, but needed to send me for blood work to test HCG levels to see if I was "really" pregnant and I was told he would call me the next day with results. HE NEVER CALLED! I had to call the on-call doctor and have them look at my results and then was rushed to the hospital due to abnormalities in my ultrasound. I ended up with a molar pregnancy which can result in cancer. A few days after I met with the on-call doctor, Dr. Ferguson FINALLY called me and I was told that that was what he was… thinking blah blah blah. I will never go back to him or the office again (the office has failed to call me with test results on more than one occasion, they never answer my questions, an so much more. AVOID!

Today I just had the first Pap of my life, and Dr. Ferguson was awesome! The staff, as well as Dr. Ferguson were very friendly and helpful! They explained what was going to happen, and answered all of my questions before, during and after the exam. Dr. Ferguson and his assistant (a sweet lady who was in the room the whole time) laughed at all the jokes I cracked, and he even had a few of his own (awesome)! Definitely a great experience for me!! I am so glad I chose him as my doctor! He made the appointment easy, relaxing, and funny, and knows what being a great doctor is all about! (Idk about how the follow up is since my appointment was just today)

I saw Dr. Ferguson recently and was extremely disappointed! His bedside manner is awful and not caring at all. I am at the end of my pregnancy and had a concern and he didn't even give me a answer for any help. When I called back regarding my concern I spoke to a nurse who was extremely helpful and made me feel at ease unlike him.

This doctor totally unimpressed me! While I was waiting for him in the room I could hear him bad mouthing other patients outside. He was brief and did not explain anything to me or ask if I had questions. Then after he left the exam room I could hear him bad mouthing other doctors. He is very unprofessional and impersonal.

Dr. Ferguson delivered my first child. I was not overly pleased with him at that point but kept the practice as my obgyn. Two years later, I became pregnant again but that excitement quickly turned to disappointment as I began to miscarry. After waiting 5 days to get an appointment, I was finally seen. The nurses at the office are very compassionate to my situation. However, when the doctor came in the room he lacked any bedside manner whatsoever. I had a list of many questions I wanted to ask him, but was interrupted half way through my first question. He then proceeded to tell me that miscarriages are common (1 in 4 pregnancies) and basically, to get over it. As soon as he entered, he was getting up again to walk out of the door. He spent a total of about a minute in the room with me (not exxagerating at all). A visit that was supposed to give me peace of mind and answer many questions I had about a very difficult time in my life ended up making me more angry about the situation.… Needless to say, I will be finding another OB should I get pregnant again.

The most wonderful doctor who has ever pulled a baby out of me!! thanks doc!
