Dr. Ileana Antoniadis, MD

Like a lot of reviewers here I went to this doctor for a while and thought the care was ok. She slowly became belligerent and all knowing about issues not in her realm of expertise. I found better care elsewhere with more advanced diagnostic capability. She seems to have some issues herself with a personality disorder.

Very negative experience. This doctor talked more than listened, talked over me. Every question I answered, she countered. She insisted that a medication I have taken in the past was steroid - it was not. She may know her stuff but certainly not the right doctor for me. She needs to be respectful of her patient.

Was a patient of Dr. A for 17 years and she was the one who initially diagnosed me with fibromyalgia. Over the years things changed. When push came to shove and I became very ill she basically told me it was “all in my head”. Truth was I had an underlying issue of Hashimotos which needed specific attention as well as low Ferritin levels requiring iron transfusions. Turns out it was not “all in my head”. Luckily very good doctors treated me properly, got me on the right meds and off the wrong ones. I feel better than I have in years. I am only 45 years old with 3 young children and finally feel like I have my life back NO thanks to Dr. Antoniadis. She did not LISTEN to what was telling her and only wanted to prescribe sedating meds. Please listen to your body!

I have been going to Dr. Antoniadis for over 25 year. Her care has been excellent as she is very knowledgeable in the area of rheumatology and the many affects it has on the body. She listens to my concerns, is willing to work with my other physicians, and offers sound, medically based advice. I rarely have to wait for more than a few minutes for my appointments, her office staff is polite and friendly. She often makes phone calls with test results or as a follow-up to a new treatment.

I love this doctor. She is sharp, knows her field. I've recommended her to all of my relatives and friends. In addition, she is just plain nice, very professional and has taken care of me for years. I couldn't be more pleased. I wish all my doctors could be the same.
