Dr. Iman Hussain Ali, MD

Dr. Iman is a hard-working and caring person. When was referred to her, it took 4 phone calls to get them to take me. It seemed the front staff told me they did not take Humana insurance. After call to the insurance, I was able to verify they do and called them to tell they will cover me. What was strange and should of been my sign! They charged me $30 for a cancellation fee that was totally refindable, yet that was a lie! After a visit and a few tests, Dr. Iman took almost 2 hours each time checking me out. and provided me with advice and an increase in pills to take daily by 10 and a shot of steroids. of course I felt better and over the course of several visits, the staff became more aggressive, not calling in prescriptions, not setting up appointments for ct's and Xrays test. I went three times to get tests without appointments and had to return and was never told I had to drink a solution 2 hour before. When I complained to her staff about not informing me and not setting up the… appointment they dismissed me. I hated to not be able to see Dr . Iman, but knew I had pushed the staff to become more aggressive. While disappointed I accepted the dismissal. I asked them to send my last test to my new dr and wanted a copy of my medical records. was told before we edo that you need to sign a form and pay $25.00. I signed a form asking the test be sent to my new dr but refused to pay the $25.00. because they still owed me $30. After several discussions, I got a bill for $55.00 saying they had to get paid to get the records but was told they mailed them. That night I had 107 personal medical records, some originals, and some copies actually 4 sets on my front lawn. I filed a police report. The sad part is some of myp[ersnalinfowas in my neighbor's yard too. I write this because I ask them to drop the bill as they did not send the info to my new dr. and providing the records in my yard was not worth $55.00. Today igot a thread to go to collection and a warning that each additional statement will have a $5.00 additional charge before sent to collection. Great doctor, but beware the staff is totally Mafia. I do not think she is even aware of or is just ignoring them.

First of all, I normally Never do a negative physician review. My personal experience with Dr. Ali & her office staff was poor. I was referred to Dr. Ali by a friend & waited 3 weeks for my first appointment. The first appointment wasn't smooth at all. I literally waited over 4 hours to see the doctor. The other patients in the waiting room were also frustrated with the wait. I finally met Dr. Ali & she was very bossy & diagnosed me without any blood work or previous physician notes. Yes, she spent time assessing my illness & was jumping all over the place. Finally, she wrote to me 5 plus new prescriptions, including chemo pills without any objective data. At first, I thought maybe she is knowledgeable & knows what she is doing. Then I became concerned about how everything was handled. My next appointment was to go over labs & medication review. My lab results honestly weren't that bad & she continued the medications & decided to start me on IV chemo. I'm like everyone with… these autoimmune diseases & desperate for help to feel better & my judgment was poor. I told Dr. Ali I couldn't afford IV chemo & she had paperwork for me to fill out for drug assistance. The follow-up from her office again was poor. After speaking to the drug company I learned that DR. Ali is receiving kick-back from the drug companies. Please beware of medicare & private insurance fraud. Dr. Ali's office double-billed Medicare & refused to give me information about the cost of infusion in her office. I asked DR. Ali if she was sure about the chemo infusion in her office & she said I wouldn't get the medicine at a hospital. Again, Dr. Ali Never saw any of my medical records or drugs I was currently taking. My health is poor with high-risk illnesses & normally every medical procedure is done in a hospital setting. Dr. Ali honestly knew nothing about me & her diagnosis was based on subjective data & subjective assessment. My common sense finally kicked in & I canceled my next appointment with Dr. Ali & scheduled to see a new physician this week for treatment. I've never been to a specialty physician that has a sign display that shows skin treatment as the main business on the sign vs Rheumatology. Actually, it's difficult to see what she is licensed in. My experience was concerning & I plan on contacting Medicare & additional support systems to investigate this practice. It is more than obvious Dr. Ali is making money giving people infusions that probably don't need the medication. Good Luck on finding a reputable & professional rheumatologist.

Dr. Ali is the best doctor I have ever seen in my entire life! I am so blessed to know her as my doctor. She always goes the extra mile (or 10) to help!

Dr. Ali definitely knows what she is doing. She's a different kind of doctor, though, so just be aware. She is very honest with you and expects you to be honest with her about any symptoms or pain you are having. She truly cares about the well being of her patients and wants them to live the fullest life possible even though we are all dealing with some serious health issues. She just works quickly and efficiently, so there's not going to be much hand-holding! I do agree that, although her office staff is very sweet, it's a bit trying at times to communicate adequately. I would also love to be able to communicate with Dr. Ali through email or website.

Dr. Ali knows what she is doing. She is very matter-of-fact and talks quickly so be prepared to keep up. If you want someone to feel sorry for you and hold your hand, she's not the doctor for you - but if you want a doctor who will work hard to diagnose you and treat you in the best way possible, she's the one. The only frustration I have is that it's kind of hard to get questions answered over the phone and I wish her office had a website where we could email questions, etc.

Doctor was intelligent but 1very very bossy !! I like a doctor who listens to my complaints as well as I listen to her diagnosis ! Staffing is poor, insurance filing are very poor prepare yourself. On top of that was sent to check on Lupus said I had it, went to new doctor, I do not !!

I love Dr. Ali. She is very caring and knowledgeable. She was able to improve my arthritis and help me move without pain. I trust her and value her opinion

Dr Ali is the hardest working dr I've seen. She spends as much time as necessary with you, so if she is running behind its b/c she is giving that same high quality care to another. She will find a proper diagnosis and constantly works to achieve the best possible balance of medication or other treatments to keep you well. She is well educated, caring, intelligent and funny. Office mgr is great, office help is 50/50. If u r sick she will see you even if it means working on her lunch hour. She speaks quite quickly with an accent, of which you will become acclimated to easily. Highly recommend her, really, go... NOW, call her!
