Dr. Imtiaz Hossain, MD

I’d give him zero stars if I could. He was completely incompetent. I was there for HOURS and I did not get treatment. He came into the room completely unprepared. He hadn’t read any of the multipage papers I filled out, hadn’t looked at the CDs that I brought with me, and wanted to prescribe one of the medications that I listed that I can’t have. He came into the room with someone else’s images and showed them to me and I told him they were not mine. He asked me whose they were. I responded by saying, “How would I know whose they are?” That is a HIPPA violation for which his license should be reviewed. Additionally, I came in a wheelchair and he wanted me to climb up on a table to lay on my stomach to get injections, clearly I couldn’t do that, but I’d bet he wants the insurance company to pay for the treatment anyway. I will contact them to let them know I didn’t get any treatment from him, just an office visit. I wouldn’t send anyone there at all. I didn’t trust him at all.

I had an exceptional experience with Dr. Imtiaz Hossain. His professionalism, knowledge, and genuine care for my well-being were evident throughout all of my visits and treatments. He took the time to listen to my concerns, thoroughly explained my condition, and provided a clear and effective treatment plan. I highly recommend Dr.Hossain to anyone seeking top-notch medical care. Unfortunately, my experience with the office staff was quite the opposite. The staff seemed disorganized and unprofessional and when I tried to get assistance, they were unhelpful and dismissive. It was frustrating to deal with the lack of communication and coordination. I hope the office management takes steps to improve the efficiency and friendliness of their staff.

He is awesome!!!

On my first trip to this Doctor today I found him lacking in interest, compassion, and patience. His manner was brusque and dismissive. I will not be returning.

My primary had me considering back surgery. NO No ! A friend recommended Dr Hassan He was my life saver. 3 spinal shots & so far 4 years later, I am still pain free. I thank this man for giving me my life back.

Need I say more. He does not listen to his patients. He believes all pain is the same and "they are out to get stoned". He believes all pain is the same all the time "you cant have exacerbation of pain during the day", again his words. My only hope is there is another doctor out there who cares about legitimate chronic pain patients. Several complaints have now been filed with Fl Board of Medicine

WATCH YOUR COPAY IF YOU CARD SAYS ZERO DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY CASH CALL YOUR INSUR COMPANY ASAP!! THEY TRY TO MAKE YOU BUY THEM LUNCH BY STEALING FROM DISABLE PEOPLE FOR THERE GAIN!!! MOTIVATED BY MONEY PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AS I DID GOING TO SEE THIS DOCTOR. HE TRULY DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR PAIN. HE IS VERY COLD, AND SHOWS NO COMPASSION. THE ONLY TREATMENT OPTION HE WILL GIVE YOU ARE THE INJECTIONS With use of IN'S AND NOTHING ELSE.

Dr. Hossain got me in quickly. His "bedside" manner is curt and abrupt, and he likes to pontificate on things without allowing that others may be knowledgeable about some things or that the patient's experience may not match his proclamations at all. Worst, his judgment is poor. He prescribes drugs with multiple side effects and doesn't consider the effects of having starting doses that are too high, drug interactions, and severe side effects that are common with some drugs. He does not return phone calls! You're on your own till your next appointment! I suspect, in the midst of this, there is some strong misogyny, which is built into both his culture and many medical schools, so women beware!

Office staff not knowledgeable regarding billing, when I had a question, they looked at me like I had six heads. No one in office would take the time to find an answer for me. Dr. Hossain himself, was no help to me with my back problems, after two visits, receiving injections that were ineffectual, and very costly, my advice is to steer clear from this office.
