Dr. Inai Mkandawire, DO

She is one of the most wonderful doctors I’ve ever been lucky to be acquainted with... great patience, bed side manner, love of her job, huge empathy and understanding of individual condition, the list goes on... I especially love that she treats me with a mutual respect that not many doctors have learned or acquired!

Was very apprehensive, going to a New Team, Dr Mkandawire, was compassionate, listened, and made, me feel good, about, managing my condition!! They need more empathetic, experienced, physicians.. Who truly treat you, with respect!

I was extremely disappointed with this doctor. If I am taking my meds four times a day and still experiencing debilitating pain......why would she decrease it to three times a day????? I wish there was a device created where doctors could feel exactly what their patients felt. I guarantee you it would change how they prescribed! Don't tell me that you will teach me how to live with pain when you have no clue what I am experiencing! Walk a mile in my shoes. There's such a thing as quality of life!

I was Dr. Mkandawire's patient for 2yrs at her previous practice. She is in a word extraordinary. I'd always been able to work & take care of myself, I certainly never thought I'd be a chronic pain patient on disability at my age but at 51yo there I was. She was so patient with me. I cried at every visit for the first few months, she never made me feel like I was anything else other than important to her. I always ENJOYED my visits with Dr. M. Can you imagine looking forward to seeing your pain management doctor? Using a combination of medicines & coping strategies I've learned to stay ahead of the pain, how to manage the pain. I'm now in school learning how to make a living another way so I can get off disability & get back to being a productive member of society. That's more than I ever could've hoped for, I didn't get my life back. I got a revamped improved version & I'm looking forward to starting a new career. Chronic pain doesn't have to be the end, it can be a beginning! Dr.… Mkandawire is the very best!!

Dr. Mkandawire is the most exceptional doctor I have ever been treated by. You don't find doctors who will give you the time and attention that Dr. "M" offers. She's a smart lady and knows her field very well. I highly recommend her to anyone experiencing pain or suffering from a condition that has gotten worse over time. She knows more than most doctors!!!
