Why I chose to pursue a career in healthcare:While I loved being a bedside nurse, I always knew that I wanted to pursue an advanced practice degree. I chose to become a nurse practitioner so I could provide my patients with holistic care and focus on prevention of disease and management of illness.What I want my patients to know about me:My goal with every interaction with my patients is to learn something unique about each patient.What I do when I'm not seeing patients:I love spending time with my family. I enjoy watching and traveling for ice hockey games. One of my biggest passions, besides my career, is spending time cooking and baking.
