Dr. Ingrid Karin Roskos, MD

After hearing a friend's previous bad experience with Dr. Roskos which involved Dr. R pressuring her to get an absolutely unnecessary hysterectomy, I decided to switch to Dr. Clavin. Upon arrival at my appointment with Dr. Clavin, I was informed by the staff that I was not allowed to switch Drs. within the same practice and that I would have to reschedule with Dr. R. When asking the staff why this was, they were extremely rude and didn't give an explanation. Don't I have a right to choose which Dr. I want? The staff should have informed me of this before the appointment was made, or at least checked this before I went in for my appointment. So I had to delay my appointment for 2 weeks later. When I finally went in to see Dr. R , I was seen pretty quickly. She asked me a few questions regarding my missed menstrual cycles and then told me that it could be due to stress. The appointment was extremely rushed. She told me she prescribed me medication, needed blood work from me,… told me to get dressed, and left the room. I thought she would come back after I got dressed to explain to me what the blood work was for and allow me to ask her questions since she left without saying anything that would indicate the office visit was concluded. I had questions to ask her but was informed by the tech that Dr. R was already in with another patient and that I may ask her questions when I go in for blood work the next day. The next day I went in for blood work with a list of questions scribbled out. I was appalled to be told that I would have to SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT TO GET MY QUESTIONS ANSWERED. I just needed 5 minutes of the Dr.'s time. This could have been avoided yesterday if the Dr. simply asked if I had any questions or gave me time to talk before she abruptly left. I guess I'll just rely on answers I find online. I'll save myself the cost of another office visit. Needless to say, I will be switching to a completely different practice.

Dr. Roskos does not spend enough time with her patients 3-7 minutes tops. I always felt rushed when I went in for my visit. She does not have time for you. I will not be going back to her for my next delivery. Her nurse B is not the best, when the office is busy she does not want to answer any questions. My visits lasted a total of 15 minutes with the nurse and doctor. Majority of your visit will be spent in teh waiting room. If someone is in labor she will leave you sitting in the waiting room until she comes back from across the street.

I have been going to this doctor for years. Shei has always taken great care of me. She is very conscientious about my care and my health. I would recommend her to anyone!

I went to Dr. Roskos for an inflamed uterus. I had a trans v. ultrasound at my local hospital prior to her appointment. On the very first appointment she proceeds to tell me that the lump, in my right ovary, is no big deal. This is while looking at the radiology report that says it is inconclusive. I was given a pap smear that made me bleed a lot afterwards. I have had many pap's and never bled. I had to wait for a second visit in a month to monitor the lump and get a uterine biopsy. I returned and started my visit with the ultrasound done by her technician. The woman was very sweet. However, the wand they used was three times the size of the one at my hospital. . I had to lift myself up in the air while she pushed the probe in all directions. It has been almost a week and my insides still hurt, including my other internal organs such as my bladder and bowels. I then went to have the doctor do the cervical biopsy. After poking me a few very painful times she said… that my cervical opening was too small and could not be entered to do the biopsy. I was told to get dressed and take a birth control prescription with no blood work. Never mind the fact that I now am aware of the cervix issue added to the other ones. She blew that one off too. I had to ask, at both visits, for a complete hormone panel and she rolled her eyes at me. Then she wrote out a lab form only for Progesterone and Thyroid. I went home and researched what physicians are supposed to do when you can't biopsy an almost closed cervix. The doctor was supposed to arrange an in hospital procedure to knock me out and have my cervix dilated to get the biopsy. I could have cervical cancer and she couldn't care in the least. I have called her office twice and have been ignored. to this day. Now I have to start over and find a competent doctor that does her job. I wouldn't recommend her for anyone not even my dog. My veterinarian is more thorough than her and has a kind bedside manner as well.

Camellia City OBGyn is a very personable office with very little wait time in the lobby! Very helpful if you work or are pregnant. The nurses always call back to answer your nervous questions and the staff makes you feel comfortable. From ultrasound techs to billing and appts they are caring and try their best to accommodate Excellent care! Dr Roskos kept my baby and I safe 'before' she was born thus I have a healthy baby today. She knows what is best and she is an awesome Dr to go see. Can't wait to have more babies with her.

She spends as much time as needed to answer my questions and also spends time speaking with my husband to ease his concerns during my recent pregnancies. I recommend Dr Roskos to all my friends. Very professional and friendly. Nurse "B" is also very friendly

Dr. Roskos delivered my first child. I will say she is very good at giving facts and treating a conditions. However, she really pushes inductions (which I didn't want). I asked several times if she wanted to induce me for medical reasons, and she told me that most people just want to get one. I wasn't even at or past my due date at the time. She asked me at every appointment and when I registered high blood pressure one time she insisted I have one. I wish I had declined or demanded another blood pressure test, because when I went in for my induction the nurse there was confused since I had normal levels. I felt extremely pressured into the induction. All turned out okay with healthy baby, but I would not go to her for my next child. Find someone who listens to you and doesn't arrange your childs birth around her schedule ("no you won't deliver on Valentine's Day..I've got plans that night).

I'm always rushed and not even asked how I'm doing when I go in for an appointment. I feel like they are trying to rush me out so fast all of the time that I can't even ask questions about my concerns of my pregnancy. I don't feel like a genuinely cared about patient at all and I don't want to have my baby delivered at this hospital. I'm very upset. I feel so uncomfortable here that I don't even want to come back for another appointment. It's sad because this is my first child and my experience at my doctor visits are terrible.

Barely spends any time with patient. Her nurse is terribly rude. Very high ego. Doesn't even pretend to care about patient. Will not be returning for next child. Was new to area so I didn't know a doctor. After first few appointments friends told me I shouldn't have went to Roskos and that she doesn't listen. Should've changed doctors then. Instead I stayed and she could not have made my experience less special. THANK GOD for the hospital nurse and doctor who actually gave birth to my daughter. Find a good doctor who cares.

Dr. Roskos is definitely not very friendly. Everything is professional, stoic and steamrollered into an appointment. She seems to try to guilt you into some things
