Dr. Ioana Dumitru, MD, FACC

Dr. Dumitu will go out of her way to help you with anything you want or need. She is amazing and caring. Dr. Dumitru is all about her patients. I will never forget what she has done for me and my family.

Simply put, Dr. D saved my life. She quickly diagnosed and started treating my condition, which had been misdiagnosed at another facility.She is dedicated to her patients and expects us to work as hard at healing as she does in addressing our issues. She is extraordinarily knowledgable and compassionate. She always makes sure you understand the situation and plan of attack. Furthermore, she is concerned about her patient's total health and well being, not just their cardiac issues.

I have been a patient of Dr. Dumitru for better than 3 1/2 years. I was within hours of dying when I met het. Not only did she stabilize me but instilled confidence that I would get better. She offered me hope when others said there was nothing to be done for me. I am now recovering from a heart transplant and looking forward to a long, productive life.Dr. Dumitru possesss a rare combination of professionalism and is also quite personable. She is willing to take time from her hectic schedule to make sure the patient understands what she plans to do and is also willing to take the time to help calm any concerns or fears. She is extremely dedicated to her patients and I feel extraordinarily blessed to have her for my doctor.
