I’m going back to 1982 - Dr. Ira Posner saved my foot, saved my life, and was instrumental in the maintaining the quality of my life for the last 30 years. A car accident had left me with a severe compound fracture of my ankle - similar to that which affected Dak Prescott Dallas Cowboys quarterback. In the ER Dr. Posner told me that my injury was catastrophic, and that he could amputate, or do something radical. He said, “I’m going to try to save your foot.” Dr. Posner operated on me, put it all together, But, my bone became necrotic (meaning, the bone was ‘dead’). After 11 days in the hospital he said, “your ankle is like an egg, if you add pressure it will crack.” So,, I was non-weight bearing for 12 months - yes - a complete year! But at the end of that time, I walked. I could never run again, but I walked. At 65 years of age I am active, playing golf and fitness walking - none of which would be possible if it had not been for the insight of Dr. Ira Posner - a true pioneer…

Dr. Posner replaced my left knee with a total knee implant back in 2001. Immediately upon waking, the pain I lived with for 22 years was GONE! It's now 2013, and my knee is still pain free. Thanks Doc!

My opinion is that how come A Dr of such good reputation accept my case of injury and without knowing anything about how happened just blind gave a Diagnosis that my injury is not related to work!!I'm not mad I'm just so sad because how come a person's future is in the hands of a Dr that I dont even know and he doesn't have a clue of what happened to me.
