Dr. Irandathy Rodrigo, MD

I had lab tests more than 12 days and I never had ANYONE in the office CALL me regarding my labs at all. After more than 1 week, I e-mailed dr. Rodrigo, she had NEVER been response back to me. Two days later, I emailed again and it wasn't response from her at all. today, a gentleman in the office called me after I called in 3 times and left the message. He said: "your lab is ok, alright, and continue to take medication, ... "... and he was about to hand off after 15 seconds on the phone with me, then I asked : what's my HA1c? his answered: 6.8 ! I said: it's high ! this guy respond: "it's still manageable"! my next question: what's my cholesterol level? answered: "more than 180"; the point I want to say here is: 1- If you DON'T KNOW the meaning of these lab results, DO NOT say: It OK ! this is very DANGEROUS to the patients ! 2- DON'T assume ALL patients are dump and DON'T know anything about MEDICINE, so you say whatever you want ! 3- ONLY 2 minutes on the phone, you… can say a lot to the patients ! 4- Every time patients come to the office, it's NOT for FREE ! So be nice ! 5- there's ONLY one MEN working in this OFFICE, so if you come, you will know which guy I am talking about; regardless whether HE knows these NUMBERS or NOT, it DOESN'T MATTER to me, but AT LEAST, he had to READ literally from my LAB REPORT out loud so I can hear, but he IGNORED to do so, and just said: IT IS GOOD ?????? My HA1c is 6.8 and he said: " it is good" ????? Pre-diabetes: (5.7 to 6.4).

I am very please with the care that Dr. Rodrigo and staff provide to me. She shares my concerns about all aspects of my health and well being and makes sure that I receive patient education as necessary.

Dr. Rodrigo is one of the best doctors I have seen in my life. She really cares for her patients and as far as I have seen she has her patients' best interests in mind. For instance after my my lab work came back she called me, never has a doctor called me personally to give me the results. I must also add that all of the people at her office are very much like Dr Irandathy Rodrigo and follow her lead. Each, each one is very courteous, professional, and friendly. I am very pleased to have found a doctor such as Dr. Rodrigo and the friends I have made at her office from the nurse practitioners to the person that greets you when you enter the office. My previous doctor and her staff were the complete opposite. I add that comment to reaffirm how grateful I feel and what a pleasant experience it is having met and continuing to be a patient of Dr Rodrigo and that she helped me realize there are doctors that treat people as humans and not the next chart. I recommend Dr Rodrigo highly… and urge you to seek her expertise and bedside manner if you are looking for a new doctor in Lawrenceville. Thank you Dr. Rodrigo and staff.

She rushed through EVERY single visit that I had with her. The inky reason I returned to her was because I had to wait for my new insurance to go in effect. She makes you feel embarrassed about what ever medical concerns you may have. Makes you feel low because you are a patient who receives medicaid (although she still gets paid regardless). If you have a question about something you did not list during scheduling your appointment you can forget about getting an answer. And last but not least she will refer you to someone else for ANY issue you may without checking seeing what she can do first.

I was pleased with Dr.Rodrigo and the nurse practioner in her office.

She repeatedly told me she did not have the qualifications to deal with me, I was on too many meds (4), she yelled at me on the phone for not picking up her phone call and returning her call an hour later (meanwhile I was on an AMBULANCE with MY patient) and told me her calls were more important than my job! Really?! She refused to deal with the basics for fear of malpractice...I mean...what does she do as a doctor? Did not even want to give me vaccines I needed; told me to go to Walgreens. Good luck if you go there! You'll need it!

Lack of coordination between doctor and nurses. Doctor office made a mistake 3 times to send information to lab for my A1C test. Nurses and other stuff are not professional. Doctor was so rusty with the patient since she has been accepting all Obma care. I do not suggest anybody to see the doctor.

The office was clean, staff was very courteous but the doctor have no bedside manner, never ask any questions just exam you and walk out, never even check to see if all test was completed...

Having moved several times because of my husbands job I am somewhat used to searching for good doctors/dentists/etc. Dr. Rodrigo was only the second doctor I visited since moving to Georgia and I can confidently say that I am done searching! She (and her staff) is professional, intelligent, and insightful. The Office was clean and efficiently run. What more could I ask for in a family doctor?

I recently moved to the Sugarloaf area from California. Wait time was reasonable. Office environment was clean, elegant, and efficient. Dr. Rodrigo seems very knowledgeable and trustworthy. What more would I look for in a doctor?! I can definitely see Dr. Rodrigo being my physician for years to come and would highly recommend the clinic.
