Dr. Irene Brigid Delorenzi

Irene is no longer with Warner Family Practice. I want to find where she is in order to serve papers to her. She treated me for approximately 4 years in that time she misdiagnosed me multiple times. Gave me medications or knew I was on medications that contributed to further my ailments. At one point she was reading my tests (i.e. blood work) and actually said to me "well your x numbers are still high, if you are actually taking your medication" Really, I am an adult....then she after 4 years of my bone density tests sucking tells me "you have osteoporosis" like duh!!! Then prescribes 30 mg 1x a week of treatment. 4 weeks later broke pelvic bone....

Irene Delorenzi is an expert family medicine practitioner. I have been her patient for over 10 years. Her medical practice focuses on prevention, she listens to her patients and has a terrific sense of humor.

I HAVE BEEN VERY HAPPY WITH WFP. DR. DELORENSI IS MY PCP AND i HAVE BEEN VERY HAPPY WITH HER.

I joined the WFP group in 2010 when my former primary doctor retired. I am 62 years old and had primary doctors from coast to coast (due to corporate relocations). I tried 2 different physicians there and there's not much difference. There are some good physicians there, but WFP is a woefully lacking medical corporation that overshadows their talents. MOST IMPORTANT...this is a well oiled machine, where everything is directed to improving the corporate bottom line. There is a constant push to maximize services and testing...and driving up patient spending. Testing and doctor visits are done every 3 months instead of the normal 6. The corporation wants to make sure they squeeze every dime out of you by prescribing for only 3 months at a time. You are required to repeat the same lab work before seeing the physician for a renewal. Ouch...the spiraling costs! Don't forget the extra services offered and pushed during your visit thus taking away precious time from your… short 15 minute appointment. This definitely diminishes the talents of these physicians. 2ND MOST IMPORTANT...please notice the labs and testing services in the same office, again everything is directed to driving up patient spending and improving the corporate bottom line. The final insult...3RD MOST IMPORTANT...is the swiping of your credit card for any future insurance shortfalls, instead of billing as is normal practice. This is justified by the corporation...quoting directly "More importantly, it will help ensure our office can continue to provide our patients with quality, affordable care." You can see the physician after your credit card is swiped for your co-pay...and then swiped a second time for pre-authorized charging to your credit for future insurance shortfalls. Would it surprise anyone if some patients have difficulty paying for services at a medical corporation constantly trying to push up costs? Again everything is directed to improving the corporate bottom line. Even if you were tempted to believe WFP's propaganda about truly wanting to make health care affordable, then why hasn't the WFP corporation or any of its physicians received the United Healthcare Premium® designation for Quality & Cost Efficiency? Talk is cheap and people can easily be misled, but awards are the proof. And the FINAL WFP corporate uncaring attitude is the lack of any mechanism for patient feedback. The front desk is woefully untrained and unreceptive to this and you'll find plenty of aloofness and distance there. Yes, keep booking all those extra services with a smile, but the bottom line...push the patients thru thereby maximizing the corporate bottom line. When I announced my dropping of WFP and my primary care physician, not one word was spoken at their end for the reasons why. Again, it didn't surprise me in the least. In summation, there are some good doctors there but I would definitely stay away from the WFP Corporation. The corporate priorities for driving up patient spending and improving the bottom line overshadow the physicians, so strongly that it diminishes their talents. Perhaps management will someday realize the folly of their ways, recognizing that patients are people who are simply trying to make ends meet, instead of worrying so much about the corporate bottom line.

After several visits with this beast, I finally changed providers. I like Warner Family practice, but this woman is rude, condescending, and unprofessional. She showed up 30-45 min late for every appt that i had, and I was her first appt of the morning. She always provided an excuse, but never an apology. She raised her voice to me on several occasions, and I really grew tired of her lecturing me. I have been a nurse for many yeears, and I will not take that from anyone, especially another health care professional. Oh, did I say professional?? She's not. She was a witch. The only time she looked me in the eye was to ask where I had bought my purse, and was it real. I could have smacked her, but I just bit my lip. She's an idiot, and I would stay away.

Dr. Delorenzi was disrespectful throughout my appointment with her. She spoke to me like I was a child when I re-asked a question for clarification. I finally confronted her about her rudeness and she seemed shocked, completely unaware that her approach is downright mean. My experience with her really shook me up. I have never had a problem dealing with people but Dr. Delorenzi really challenged my patience. Try a different doctor if you are looking for good care.

Her bedside manner was predictably low. she misdiagnosed a stomach ailment as a blockage that it is continued for another day, I could die from it. The emergency room did a cat scan and all I needed was a good flush from the preparation. The cat scan turned up no blockage etc but cost $1900

This woman should not be practicing medicine. I have been going to Warner Family Practice for many years and have seen many of the doctors and pa's that have passed through the practice. She is, by far, the only one I can say I would never see again. She is cold, distant, uncaring. She does not look you in the eye. She totally misdiagnosed me with a medical problem that I do not have. Other physicians have just laughed in disbelief when I have told them her diagnosis. My daughter who has been a patient at WFP for longer than I will not see her either after only 1 visit with her. Cannot understand why Dr. Turner keeps her in the practice. Staff does not seem to like her either.

Dr. Delorenzi is an amazing physician. Her bedside manner is wonderful and I appreciate how thorough and kind she is. I recommend her to everyone I know and trust her with my life.

Both my daughter and myself have gone to Irene Delorenzi several times, and both of us find her extremely rude, bordering on actually being mean. She is totally impatient,seems uncaring, and all the while with a constant sour look on her face. Awful bedside manner, shows no compassion at all. We both can't believe she still has patients that go to her. AVOID THIS DOCTOR, would be my advice.
