Dr. Irene Helen Ludwig, MD

After two surgeries my eyes are worse than before surgery. After seeing Dr. Ludwig for multiple follow ups her suggestion to correct my double vision was to “close one eye when driving”. I am now facing a trip across country to the Mayo Clinic to have her surgeries corrected.

My son has been seeing Dr. Ludwig since he was 2 years old, now he's 16. He was diagnosed with amblyopia. She performed two eye surgeries (at ages 3 and 4), and he wore an eye patch to strengthen his right eye until the age of 9 (not 24/7). We have seen remarkable results from her treatment of him! And he is now preparing to move forward from glasses to one contact for his right eye! She has a wonderfully warm bedside manner, and we highly recommend her to anyone seeking treatment for their child.

It is well worth the wait. Dr. Ludwig is a Wonderfrul Doctor.

Absolutely fantastic woman! As the mother of a 5 year old who has already had to have eye surgery on both eyes to correct Strabismus, I wouldn't have had anyone else do the surgery. I would recommend Dr. Irene Ludwig to anyone and everyone!

I was a patient of Dr. Ludwig's when I was just three years old. I have Accommodative Esotropia so my left eye crossesd very severely as a child. I thank Dr. Ludwig for providing me with corrective surgery so with contacts or glasses my eye stays completely straight. I think about how difficult it would have been growing up with a crossed eye and I thank my lucky stars that my parents found such good care for me.
