During a recent appointment with Dr. Rizvi, my son accompanied me as an interpreter, having been fully informed of my symptoms and medical history to facilitate communication. Despite arriving on time for a 3:15 PM appointment, we were not seen until 3:55 PM, with no other patients waiting. Dr. Rizvi initially asked my son about the type of pain I was experiencing. My son attempted to explain, as he was already aware of my symptoms, but Dr. Rizvi interrupted him rudely, insisting the question be asked to me "word for word." When my son clarified that he could relay the information, Dr. Rizvi dismissed him, stating he would not proceed without a direct question. After my son interpreted the question and I began responding, Dr. Rizvi interrupted again, refusing to continue and insisting on a professional translator. This interaction felt dismissive and discriminatory, leaving us uncomfortable and disrespected.

Very careless and didn't want to treat me. My issues were clear and present and nothing was done, I really want to say it was because of my sexual orientation. Wouldn't recommend to an LGBTQ+ member.

Yesterday I had an appointment for an ongoing ailment. This healthcare "proffessional's" response to my pain was " What the (curse word) do you want me to do about it? If you are (curse word) from two areas I cannot fix one without the other one being taken care of, so I am not going to do a thing about it". Then he wanted to proceed with the exam which I refused. I do not appreciate the treatment I received and I am seeking a second opinion and filing a complaint with the medical board. I wish there were no stars to rate thid individual, he deserves "0".

I was extremely pleased with my visit to this colorectal surgeon, whom I found to be extremely professional and an excellent clinician. He was able to diagnose my problem in one visit. I felt completely comfortable in his presence.
