Should have checked her education/experience prior to my visit. Very disappointed by the level of expertise.

I feel rushed when there. She does not like me to ask questions! I have a serious illness and she advised me NOT to research as it would make her job harder! I was AGHAST! As my condition is a rare case. HAD I had not educated myself to my illness thru seminars, study, etc. I would have never have learned to manage my day to day care. When I go in for a physical I have never had her ck. my ears, throat, neck arteries for blockages, so many things are just skipped. She asks no questions about any thing different you may be experiencing. I have to ask for the Annual X-ray of chest, Nor does she follow up with you or discuss blood work or X-rays. I have to go the the lab and pick up the results and decide what needs to be attended to by another Dr. who is a specialist. Many, many things are not done that I was accustomed to, before I moved to Tn. I think perhaps it is my age, as Dr's in general don't pay much attention to patients on Medicare. I do not feel I have ever… had a thorough physical. But it is difficult to find Drs. who will take Medicare patients, even if you have a gap policy. I find her cold and indifferent. I am sure she is smart but very lacking in patient communication.

Spent 9 hours in emergency due to feeling really ill, nausea, pain in chest area and shoulder radiating down arm, light headed & felt like passing out. Many tests run and all that was found was a spot on the liver. Referred to personal physician for follow-up. During follow-up with Dr. Didier, she recommended we watch & wait three months, then take another X-ray of the spot on the liver to see if it had grown. This did not set well with me or my family; however, the next day, Dr. Didier changed her mind and decided to refer me to imaging center for an ultra sound. Results of ultra sound by radiologist showed large unknown matter on liver (perhaps a cyst?) and also gall stones. Was told then by Dr. Didier that her office would refer me to a surgeon (?) for gall bladder and hepatologist for liver. Not hearing back from her office, did my own research thru networking and found my own surgeon at Vanderbilt, as well as hepatologist. Had to get patient advocacy involved at Vanderbilt and… wrote personal urgent letter to Didier, delivered by hand to her office the next day at approx. 8:30.m. Return of my phone calls from her office was terrible, and the only one call they finally made at the end of the day was not even to my home number but cell number, which they left a message to call their office, which my home number was the preferred choice of communication. Due to the seriousness of these pending matters, and the reluctancy of referring me to radiology for ultra sound from the very beginning, and after also learning from her scheduler that she did not write in my chart about scheduling me for a surgeon referral which was to be made by her office (and of which her scheduler finally put me on hold and called Didier and verified that what I was told by Didier and now was telling the scheduler that I must be scheduled was in fact true and not written in the chart)-and this scheduler was the only person in that office who seemed to totally have their act together; as well as not receiving any phone calls from her personally (bedside manners and follow-up), until a day and a half after delivering the letter to her office at 8:30a.m. the previous day; (of which was not treated by her staff in an URGENT nor PERSONAL manner apparently being opened and read by her office manager who called at the end of the next day); causing me great anxiety and stress. Had to go and find my own competent surgeon since I did not want one chosen by anybody else from a list of surgeons pool of names (as not all surgeons specialize in gall bladders or livers); which quite honestly caused myself and my husband to lose all confidence in this doctor. We will not be returning to her office ever again.

I REAlly like DR Didier.she is caring.she is the best Doctor that i have ever had.
