Dr. Iris Michelle Vivas, MD

Dr Vivas evaluated me while in the process of a bariatric surgery. We did a pre-evaluation and made a plan for therapy sessions to go through the ups and downs of this big change. I greatly recommend her.

I highly recommend her to anyone who needs guidance to make healthy life changes as a whole person. From the family perspective, work, marriage, and other relationships. I went through a rollercoaster of emotions in the past year but got into the right place for help. I'm very happy with Dr. Vivas treatment!

I trust my doctor 100 %. It’s been a long path with my bipolar disorder but with Dr. Vivas I feel much better. Lots of medications trials, side effects before. First thing that she did was eliminating a lot of medications. That scared me in the beginning. She told me that I was having more side effects than benefits from my medications. I had like 6-7 medications. Not sleeping was a horrible problem that got so much better!! Also she added therapy groups and individual therapy which helps a lot. I am glad to see that still there are psychiatrists that care about you as a person. I highly recommend her to anyone!

I wish to had Dr Vivas as my Dr before. Been diagnosed with Bipolar depression struggling with bad medication combinations, lots side effects and really bad depressions. She is thorough, honest, caring. Changed my regimen with Good outcome, feeling much better. My husband and kids can see a difference on me. I recommend her very highly.
