Terrible experiences with Dr. Santiago. Waited over an hour for her to spend literally five minutes with me. Told me at that appointment she would give me a year’s worth of refills on my chronic medications. In reality, only gave me six months. When I called to get additional refills, she initially said she sent another 6 months in. Talked to the pharmacy, who never received anything. After calling three times, finally got a one month prescription with no refills sent to the pharmacy. Will be immediately changing physicians. Don’t waste your time with Dr. Santiago.

This woman needs help! Counseling maybe? Or just common sense! Don't play on your cell phone and text while your in the room with a patient!She is very old yet still very childish and inappropriate. The whole time she was in the room with me she had her phone in her hand and was texting. I had to ask her to put her phone away, and she did. Its one thing for me to tell my 16 year old to put her phone away.... But to tell a 55-60 year old Dr. to put their phone away in the exam room?I would not even give this Dr. 1 star. But it won't let me leave the star rating blank! By far the most childish and unprofessional Dr. I have ever come across. I looked into her background and she has only been a Dr for 2 years, but still that is no excuse! Don't waste your time at Bayard HMS unless you want to see a idiot! Take a 10 minute drive to Silver City HMS and see a real Doctor!
