Dr. Irma A Sodini, MD

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who feels that Dr. Sodini has no compassion or empathy. Ironically, my PCP recommended her on the basis that she has the good bedside manner (compared with another gyno who apparently has bad bedside manner). But she literally made me cry while digging around my uterus the last time I saw her and didn't seem to care. Her office has messed up my billing and her reaction when I told her was to shrug and tell me she has nothing to do with that. That may be true, but it happened in her office and shrugging off the responsibility makes her seem like a child. She managed to completely miss the UTI that I had whereas my PCP identified the problem immediately. And the advice she gave me regarding my IUD the last time I met with her was completely contradictory to the advice given to me by the specialist she sent me to. I assume she didn't start out this way since my PCP tried to explain away her actions when I brought these concerns to him and seeing the… reviews below from 2 years ago. He told me her personality isn't this way, but she's rushed, overworked, and stressed out. That's fine, but that doesn't change how she treats her patients. She seems judgmental and lacking in compassion and frankly, I'm going to find a different doctor who actually listens to me.

Dr. Sodini is an excellent professional and person, she understands and respects patient's feelings, she is cultural competent; she knows very well what she does and I am sure that she loves what she does. I trust her professional opinions and decisions. She has been my OB/GYN since 2012, and took care of me and two of my babies during pregnancy, labor and delivery. I had a healthy baby boy in 2012, and a healthy baby girl in 2015. I highly recommend Dr. Sodini, she is the best!
