Dr. Leventhal is truly one of the kindest, most considerate and knowledge specialists I have come across. Prior to seeing him, I was experiencing ongoing bladder issues lasting for over three months and I had seen six different physicians prior to seeing Dr.Leventhal and none were able to give me an articulate explanation and a course of treatment. Dr.Leventhal, however, was incredibly understanding and was able to give me a clear, articulate explanation for my bladder issues as well prescribed the proper medication to alleviate my symptoms. I am so grateful for him and his expertise. He is a wonderful physician with tremendous knowledge and all in all, a wonderful human being who is caring and considerate towards all his patients, and incredibly humble. God bless him. Dr. Irwin Leventhal is the worst doctor I've ever had. He said he would perform an operation on me that I regarded as important. I called him up over the course of a month, until finally his secretary told me that Leventhal needed to speak to another doctor of mine. I spoke to that other doctor, who confirmed that he had spoken to Leventhal long ago; he was confused as to why Leventhal would claim they had not had a conversation. It is obvious Dr. Leventhal was doing this on purpose to annoy his patient. Extremely unprofessional behavior for a urologist.
