Dr Hearns has no business practicing. He stole $75.00 from me. The Medical Board was correct to suspend his license. If it is reinstated I will follow.

I went to Dr. Hearne as I was having blurred vision in one eye accompanied by headache. I am new to the area and do not have a regular doctor and thought by the symptoms I should see a specialist. I have lazy eye, have worn glasses my whole life but had not seen an eye doctor since 2011. I assumed my difficulties were due to an outdated perscription. I had been using over the counter "cheaters" to see up close. Dr. Hearne diagnosed my vision problem as Migraines. Instead of examining my vision himself, he had his Tech give me an eye exam. He did not offer me a perscription to get new glasses - he said an Optometrist could do that. For my migarines, he said I should see a Neurologist, but did not give me a referral. I requested meds for my headaches to which he said he would prescribe. I was seen on Friday. It is now Wednesday. I have checked with my pharmacy 3 times a day since being seen. I have called Dr. Hearne' s office requesting the doctor to please call in my meds or write the… prescriptions and I will drop by his office and pick them up myself. No response from Dr. Hearne. He did not examine my eyes; did not give me an updated perscription for new glasses, and would not provide me medication for a condition he diagnosed after he said he would. DO NOT SEE DR. HEARNE Under any circumstances! He is not an honest man and does not care about your health or your best medical interests. BUT HE WILL TAKE YOUR CO-PAY AND BILL YOUR INSURANCE!!!!! Frank V.

Dr, Hearne has very little patience and belittles his employees right outside the exam rooms. He seems very rushed and forgets to write notes about things he wants to follow up on. He does not listen well and states what he thinks instead of hearing what was said. Out of five visits I left from 3 feeling angry and frustrated . He just seems very burned out.

I've been going to Dr. Hearn for about ten years, after having very bad experiences with one ophthalmologist in particular. Dr. Hearn has always been thorough, spends more time with me than do most doctors, is very friendly, answers all my questions, is very knowledgeable about many aspects of medicine, beyond ophthalmology, and, most important, has helped me tremendously with my eye problems. The technicians have all been very pleasant and appear to be very well trained.

Horrible! Came in to check me and said, "So, what's happened since I saw you last?" Uhhhh, you haven't! I had never seen the guy and he obviously hadn't checked my chart. Seemed like he knew what he was doing, but lame! Also, very arrogant.

Everyone from the receptionist, optometry techs, to my Doctor were professional , kind, and fantastic. There is no one else that I would go to.

He was a horrible doctor. Very unpleasant experience.

Note to self, if you can get into ANY doctors office without an appointment on a Monday, no less and find NO other patients there upon your arrival, there's a reason! If you want to be reprimand and spoken to as if your a two year old, for simply asking ONE question, this is your man! He can't even fill out a prescription, torching you even further, once you leave his office. I'd go blind before i go back to this rude, nasty doctor!

Had been going to this practice for approximately 20 years. Liked and still like Dr. but his staff finally drove me and my wife away. Staff is rude and incompetent and sadly the Dr. doesn't seem to want to hear this.
