Dr. Isabel Puri, MD

Worst psychiatrist I’ve ever been to. She does not listen to concerns and will only hear what she wants to hear. Please spend your time and money somewhere else.

I’ve read the other reviews. If you don’t believe in the mind / gut connection and that our bodies/ minds / emotions are synergistic then Dr. Puri may not be the doctor for you. Science has proven one system affects their other. If your body is lacking basic nutrients how can your mind perform, send the right messages and be balanced? Changing my diet to rid myself of chronic fatigue, depression , brain fog , memory loss is well worth changing my diet. Listen to the expert please!!

By far the worst experience i've ever had with a doctor. The first time I visited she told me to completely change my diet to cut out gluten and dairy without even asking what type of diet I was on and within minutes of meeting me. It was off putting and very out of context when she was not aware of my nutritional needs. The second appointment she did not tell me until after the session started she did not actually have my test results and we would need to reschedule. This was after making me wait and listen to her personal phone call that she took at the begining our session for 10 minutes. The office then never scheduled a follow up call to review results after repeated requests to schedule (at least 5).

Have been a patient of Dr. Isabel Puri for over 9 years when at the time another Dr. had me on 13 different meds, but thank to Dr. Puri I'm now one ONE that is ONE antidepressant and doing quite well. Dr. Puri has been the sunshine in my life when all I use to see is pure darkness. Also, her staff of ladies up front are also true professionals considering the complaints they hear day in and out by some rude patients and if Dr. Puri is running late it's most likely she is giving that patient 100% of her time listening to all that troubles her and concerns.The owe my health and happiness to this one fine true professional.thank you always Dr. Puri-xxx

Truly dedicated in her field

I went to Dr. Puri in the past with the concern of my ADHD. She told me stuff concerning my diet, even though I am the most fit and healthiest individual around. She uses her cultural background telling me to eat veggie stuff and saying meat is bad. She didn't help treat my ADHD and was a waste of a time to visit.
