Advanced Medical Clinic in Wellington, Florida truly provides compassionate and holistic patient care. Dr. Ishan Gunawardene (fondly known as Dr, G), his wife Shariffa Gunawardene, DNP, APRN, along with a very capable staff have created a caring environment. The practice is extremely attentive to detail and they know each patient on a personal level. My family and I have been under their care for more than five years and we are extremely blessed and grateful for their care. Dr. G, Shariffa and the entire team practice high quality evidence-based medicine and they have connections to some of the finest specialists in the area, allowing them to provide comprehensive care. I wish them God’s blessings for continued success.

Dr. Gunawardene is my family doctor and is very kind , compassionate with Good bedside manners ,and excellent examination skills . He, spends time with his patients and do not rush. People in his office front desk are very friendly and excellent in communicating and make future appointments quickly and call you to remind next office visit well ahead. I strongly recommend Dr. G to you and your family.

I will never return due to the unprofessional behavior of the front office staff. I have been hung up on before (on purpose), put on hold for 15 to 20 minutes at a time just for someone to come back on the line and forget why I was placed on hold in the first place. I have had to wait for the receptionist and office manager to finish gossiping before being assisted. Good Primary care doctors are hard to come by, I was willing to deal with the usual long wait times to be seen (upwards of 2 hours, even with an appointment). BUT….. I refuse to deal with disrespect! It sucks that this office continues to lose business due to inefficient and unprofessional operations staff.

Chose Dr Gunawardene as my new family doctor as he was on my plan and close to my job.First impression was amazing.Front desk was smiling and greeted with a welcome.Thorough questions from the intake nurse,Dr G (they call him so)spend amazing amount of time drawing pictures to explain re-filled all meds interestingly walked with me to the check out counter something I have not experienced with other doctors who leave a patient and go with the next patient.For sure will continue with this office.

Had my first office visit with this doctor office,was very happy hence thought leave this review.Blood preasure/temp etc was done office staff was professional doctor was not rushed,did not take any calls despite his cell was going off thought that was very respectfull (unlike my previous office).Filled my scripts got a folowup appointment.They gave a welcoming atmosphere.

I had a visit to see this Internal medicine doctor,was satisfied and plan to go back.I actually felt they cared about my issues and felt a genuine interest.

was in hospital with a severe chest pain he admitted me got the cardiologist right away with stents put in.Was pleased the attention Dr G gave me for a good outcome and got me out now started going to his office for follow up for as my primary.

Super staff ,polite, all out to help. Got the referrals done, with no delay in mark contrast to my previous office.
