Dr. Ivan Foster Ackerman, MD

I went Plant City Office. Toó small, toó much patiens in there, hot. Personel are good. Toó much asthma without appointment until too two month. I feel bad..maybe go to Hospital, and calls answered other office not Plant City.

I was in the Hospital , seen by both Ackerman & Axel before I was released I was told to schedule an appt to come in . The woman who answers the phone is extremely rude says they don't take our insurance . So now I'm trying to find a Dr who knows what's going on .The Doctor themselves are great but their staff is horrible

Excellent practitioner. Very attentive to your needs and overall health. Very helpful and answers all concerns. I’ve recommended several friends to him.

Poor When you call the line hangs up. When you talk to Dr Ackerman he is busy trying to talk into his recorder. And when he does talk to you he talks so fast you can't understand what he is saying. He barely allows you to ask questions. His office is a disappointment He just doesn't have time for you.

It doesn't seem to matter how ill you are this doctor will always try to work you in no matter how heavy his patient load is.

No bring enough time to attend me and answer questions. Sorry, I dont recommend him to patients with acute disease.

he spoke real fast and did not explain a lot of details, he had no time for questions and seemed fustrated when i asked more questions.

I was very pleased with this doctor. I was recommended by a friend who has been a patient for over 10 years and am glad I went. staff was excellent and the doctor helped me with my copd and even has a research dept set up for further study for patients like myself..
