Dr. Ivan Omar Aldea, MD

I have been seeing Dr. Aldea for eight years now. He has never been judgment, but kind and supportive. He knows how to get me back on track when I am not doing well, but has never given up his faith in me. He always tells me to call the clinic if I am ever having an episode and truly cares about his patients in a way I have never seen any other doctor exhibit. You can't make a better decision than choosing him to be your doctor.

I'm usually a big critic of pediatric psychiatrists but I'm so impressed with Dr. Aldea and his knowledge with the two most important things I am most protective of on this Earth...and that's my two daughters. I think Dr. Aldea secretly sighs a big sigh of relief when we leave (haha! seriously!) because my girls are very much each other's best friends and worst enemies...but he is "in the zone" and you can see him totally focused on all three of us having the hormonal circus of a 8, 10, and 40 year old girls trying to explain what's wrong with the other two (and he's not even my doctor) on his poor beaten down couch after the three of us leave. Bless you, Dr. Aldea, your staff, Dr. Sherrill, her staff, and all the good jokes and research questions answered (if any) after a long hard day of work and scholarly and theoretical attempts at trying to fix the "just plain crazy ??" Arkansas redneck girls like me and my babies but we love y'all more and more for all the heart and soul you… put into it. You have helped more than anyone else and I know you all make the world a better place. The force is with you, Obi-wan....we love y'all for it.
