Dr. Ivor Percent, MD

My husband was exposed to heavy amounts of Agent Orange when he served two tours in Vietnam. Unfortunately, these chemicals caused a tremendous amount of skin cancer to breakout throughout the years. Even more unfortunate is that these cancer cells ultimately ended up metastasizing into his lungs. We’ve never felt more blessed and fortunate to have found Dr. Ivor Percent through Florida Cancer Specialists. Dr. Percent took a very aggressive approach on his situation. Today, he is in remission and we hope to keep him in remission for years to come. Dr. Percent shared with us that several of FCS cancer patients are in remission for long periods of time. The new treatments and technology are saving lives. Dr. Percent is an advocate of R&D and continues to keep himself up to date on all new cures and medicines that help lengthen lives. Not only is Dr. Percent an extremely talented Oncologist, he is simply a great guy all around. His patients immediately become part of his… “family”. He personally checks in on my husband and has even given us a phone number we can send text messages to for his immediate attention. WOW…just WOW! As I mentioned earlier, we are truly blessed! Thank you, Dr. Ivor Percent, for just being you!!!

Don’t really know what to make of him , he is the first doctor I’ve ever had that made me feel like I was a bother to him got quite upset when I asked a question , left there feeling like a second class citizen ! Not good ! Staff there just as bad !

Doctor Percent walks on water in my opinion. I normally don’t care for most doctor, however, Dr Percent has been great. For the initial appointment, my wife & brother with me. He took time to explain everything going, how it help me and the side affects of chemo. He was very personal, we felt as though we have known him for years. I totally trust him & recommend him to everyone. On the 5 star rating I would have given him a 10 Star rating.

I felt quite comfortable that I was in good hands.

I was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer in 2009. Dr. Percent was my oncologist and I was skeptical about the whole chemo/radiation treatment. If he did not insist and care as much as he did, I would not be alive to day. He has been my doctor for 10 years. One of the most kind, caring and knowledgable doctors I have had on this cancer journey. Truly, he is the best.

I met Dr Percent the beginning of 2017. He was honest and truthful with me and my husband. I believe he is a very caring and very busy doctor. He was always there for me when I needed him. I like him and I'm still here so that's everything!

I first met with Dr. Percent this last Nov. 2018. He struck me as being factional about everything and I valued that trait in him. While treating my Leukemia I had 3 different issues pop-up and he personally helped me through each one with great caring and carefully seeing that I received the best available service in each. I am fortunate to have such an exceptional and self-sacrificing Dr. overseeing my blood cancer. I think he tries to hide his tender heart for his patients but it comes out sometimes anyway. I greatly appreciate his knowledge and going where ever his has to that will assure the best available care for his patients. He is the top of the ladder in my opinion and I greatly appreciate him.

He performed thousands of dollars of test on me, with payments all going to his oncology business. He is rude, disgusting, uncaring and he should not be allowed to practice in this field. I went to another cancer doctor in the same town and received excellent care. Went to Cleveland Clinic and was told the tests he did were unnecessary.

IT WAS MY FIRST TIME TO AN ONCOLOGIST. HE WAS VERY RUDE. KEPT TEXTING SOMEONE IN THE MIDDLE OF ME ASKING QUESTIONS. HE TOLD MY HUSBAND AND I THE WORST NEWS ANYONE WANTS TO HEAR. SAID I WOULD DIE IN 12 MONTHS WITHOUT TREATMENT. I ASKED HIM TO WRITE DOWN THE NAME OF MY CANCER - HE SAID "WHY, SO YOU CAN GOOGLE IT". HE NEVER DID WRITE IT DOWN. IT IS A VERY RARE CANCER, I HAD TO WAIT TO SEE MY PRIMARY TO FIND OUT WHAT I HAD. HE WAS ON THE COMPUTER WITH HIS BACK TURNED MOST OF THE VISIT. COULDN'T BE INTERRUPTED. RUN FAR AWAY FROM THIS DOCTOR. I HAVE SINCE BEEN TO MOFFITT AND HAVE FOUND A GREAT ONCOLOGIST THERE, SHE SAID NO TREATMENT IS NEEDED FOR NOW. WHAT A DIFFERENCE - DR. PERCENT ONLY WANTS YOUR MONEY.
