Completely agree with the other review on here. It’s taken me a while to talk about my experience because it was traumatic... this was a few years ago. This doctor boldly belittled me in front of her students. She quizzes me, asking if I knew the “big medical terms” she was using and even though I knew many of them she dumbed down what she was saying multiple times, laughing and saying she would use small words. She asked me how far I got in school and was shocked, saying to me, “Really? You graduated high school?” She printed off the after visit summary and had me read it, asking if the words were too big to understand and yet again laughed at me while dumbing words down. She embarrassed me and made me feel horrible. I absolutely do not recommend seeing her if you’re Black, she will make assumptions based on your skin color.

Might be great for the majority of white madison (according to comments), but stay away if you're a PoC. She makes the most grotesque and racist assumptions and talks over you. I see all the comments about her being a great listener -- sadly not my experience. All I got were racist lectures. It's too bad that some mental health professionals only want to help other white people who look like them and assume the rest of us must fit her stereotypes. I went in looking for help, and all I got was abuse. Avoid her.

Dr. Dreizin is one of the few practitioners that I have seen that actually takes the time to listen! I was left with the impression that she cared about my well-being. These days that doesn't always happen! She has always seemed genuinely concerned about my progress. Scheduling can be difficult and I waited a long time before the first appointment was scheduled and then waited a long time in the waiting room to see her. To me both of those things are office management functions and do not relate directly to the Dr.
