Dr. Iyana Whyte, MD

Iyana Whyte, MD is an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Columbia University Medical Center. She earned her medical degree from Albany Medical College and completed her residency at Jamaica Hospital. She is highly dedicated to providing a full spectrum of women's healthcare by treating women of all ages, from pre-teen to post-menopause, and providing routine examinations, treatment of gynecologic conditions, contraceptive counseling, onsite ultrasounds, and pregnancy care. She has extensive experience in diagnosing and treating high risk antepartum and intrapartum health issues. She holds an affiliation with NewYork-Presbyterian Westchester Hospital, where she performs deliveries. Dr. Whyte has published research in assessing the efficacy of peak MCA velocities and amniocentesis before cardiocentesis when diagnosing fetal anemia.
