Dr. John Robert Kosiorek

we were 1st time parents and started seeing dr k when my son was about 4 months old. my son was born with a type of cone head which we were told would go away so by the time he was 4 months old and were noticing its still oddly shaped we brought it up to his attention and he kept saying there was nothing wrong then we kept insitting that we get a referal to a neurologist we finally did and when we went to the neurologist we found out that my son was one of the worst cases the neurologist had ever seen when we went back to dr. k for a follow up we told him what the neurologist said and dr k response was I just didnt want you to worry my son was diagnoised with flattening of the head he had to wear a helmet for 23 hours a day from the time he was 5 months old to the time he was nearly 1 year old. and to this day one side of my sons head is lower than the rest if this was caught sooner and dr k listened to us maybe my son would have a normal shaped head and now were finding out he has… other neurological issues which would have beenable to be delt with if dr k actually paid attention to the child he would have know something was wrong my son didnt do anything he just sat there he didnt coo lift head nothing. youd think hed would have relized when he would ask those type of questions something was wrong but shortly after my son got his helet we went to a new dr and now were finding out dr k only sent over the records from 4 months up and negletfully forgot whatever the other important records like newborn ect. I wouldnt go back if you paid me hes horrible hes rude and he has that oh this is your first kid issent it like you dont know anything like your just an over protective parent my son head to wear beanines and hats alot to keep people from staring until we got the helmet then we couldnt do anything even to this day my son is self contious about his head and will probably deal with bullling and teasing cause of it i would sujest to never go to dr k. dr k just needs to retire or maybe stay away from babies and young children and focus on older children.

Experienced doctor tells it like it is, cares about patients health .

I have been using Dr. K since my oldest was a baby and that was 24 years ago. He listens to the parents and is patient with the children. My adult children like him so much that they wish he would take adult patients.....

My kids have been seeing him for 16 years. He really knows his stuff! He does not like to chit chat with the parents but he is great with getting to the problem and making the kids feel better!

I took my 9 month old in to Dr. Kosiorek for the first time for a well visit last month. I should have just turned around when I walked through the door. The office is disgusting, stains all over the carpet, no "sick room", and dirty chairs. We waited 45 minutes to get called back. The nurse that weighed and measured my baby was not gentle or friendly, and go pen marks all over my baby's leg. When we finally saw the doctor he came busting in the room without a knock to warn us the door would be opening. He didn't introduce himself (we were new patients) and was rude right from the beginning. He was SO rough with my baby that I had to stop him and tell him to be more gentle. He was yanking on her arms to try to get her to hold still and holing her arms to tight. She was on my lap during the exam and he accidentally grabbed my arm instead of hers and it hurt! My baby who is normally friendly was so scared of him. I was in tears walking out of the office, and needless to say we will never… be going back. I hope no one has the same experience as me.

He was rude, unfriendly, unprofessional, and made me leave with tears in my eyes. He treated my son and I like garbage, and he just needs to retire! I would not go back to him if he was FREE.....
