Dr. Jack Linn Bellah, MD

Dr. Bellah wasn't a good listener. He was a worse surgeon. He performed what he called a meniscus repair of my right knee. My knee was worse after the surgery, and 2 years later I have had yet another surgery and my knee still won't straighten. The second surgeon discovered a meniscus so shredded he had to extract the first inserted tool to insert a cutter and start snipping away pieces of meniscus until he could see what he was working with. It was a flipped bucket handle meniscus tear. I asked the 2nd surgeon what Dr. Bellah had done during the 1st surgery, and he told me "absolutely nothing". Dr. Bellah did remove plica, which is present in all of us and had never bothered me. I now have chronic knee pain, can't walk long distances or downhill without pain, and my spine is now curved because my right leg is bent and kicks out to the side because of the knee. My left knee is now having problems from doing most of the work. I've gone from being a runner and tennis player to being able… to ride a bike, with residual pain but it's the only low impact exercise I can do without hastening the need for a full knee replacement.

I recently had shoulder surgery and Dr. Bellah handled this with great care and expertise. He explained the procedure thoroughly prior to surgery and put me at ease. Three weeks after the surgery, he actually showed me images of the shoulder area during surgery. I saw the repairs that he made and I am assured that I was in excellent hands. I highly recommend this Doctor/Surgeon.

Dr Bellah is a great surgeon. He has great knowledge and really cares about his patient. I would highly recommend Dr Bellah.

Dr. Bellah made a huge difference in my life when he did a total hip replacement for me. He was really nice and patient and I have complete confidence in him.

I was not a good canidate for surgery but needed it badly. He was willing to perform the operation whch was sucessful.

Dr.Bellah was very rude and I definatley wouldn't reccomend him. He'd ask me something and not let me finish talking, he'd talk over me and just made me feel stupid. Other than that, he didn't seem to know what he was talking about. He definately was professional.
