Dr. Jack Hood Bumgardner Jr, MD

Dr. Bumgardner is a great doctor. He is professional and courteous. His staff are polite and friendly.

He is always fast at what he does. However never think he is not hearing every word you say. He has so much wisdom in his field and I trust him all the way. He has helped me so much in the past 7 years. It scares me just thinking about having to find another doctor that I will have such a wonder connecttion with! I pray it can be done when the time comes. When you really have went through so much, and find someone who understands you and you are in and out of there in like 5 mins that is awesome. If anything has changed of course it takes just a little longer, but he is great at knowing you when he walks through the door. I would suggest him to anyone out there! This coming from a lady who had panic attacks and more panic attacks just thinking about going to a doctor. He knows what he is doing!

went in for fluid on the knee. fever & extreem pain. he didn't bother to get a sample of the fluid. no antibodic & only prescribed anti inflammatory medicine which didn't. put a dent in the pain. in horrible pain the rest of day & night. he was supposed to call in a prescription for stronger pain meds & didn't do it. the office staff are ok, with the exception of his incredibly rude wife. I've been seeing him for 15 years but after this experience, I'm looking for a new doctor.

If you are sick you have to take a day off work and sit up at the office for hours until everyone else is seen. Good luck making an appointment, they are booked up for weeks at a time. The last time I was there the wait was over 3 hours. The staff (his wife in particular) who work in the office are rude.

The best...I moved from lake but still he is my doctor...He is very concerned about his patients...
