Dr. Jack Donald Cochran, MD

Dr. C is an excellent doctor, exploring many areas for finding the cause of pain. He actually listens to the patient! He is not afraid to send someone for testing or to a specialist, if needed. The only drawback, in my opinion, is every test (blood, urine, etc.) requires a trip to the lab. He does none of those in his office. Also, no credit card payments online, which is a bit inconvenient. However, that being said, we will continue him as our Primary for the upcoming Open Enrollment renewal.

I am pleased to find Dr. Cochran, I made few phone calls or searching my primary Doctor. office had answered phone ...which I like, I dislike answering machine. Doctor was easy to talk to and what I liked about this Doctor is he won't prescribe medication unless it he believe it will help the patient. he always returned call and office stuff are friendly.

Dr walks out of room when you try to get an answer to a question. Good luck getting him to refer you to a specialist or in receiving a return phone call. Absolutely no compassion towards patients condition. Seems like he is just putting in time till retirement. It is relatively easy to get an appointment, I can see why because nobody in their right would return for a second visit.

Nice black guy but goof-up galore. But just being nice does not qualify you to be a capable doctor. Never been so disappointed in a Doctor or his clinic my entire life. First he goofs up big time with a completely wrong diagnosis of my symptoms and scared the hack out of me and many needless test which I had to pay the bill. Second time he and his office goofs up when I clearly go for a routine health check up and related labs (covered 100% by Ins) but he makes some notes which confuses the front desk and they bill my insurance as a regular office visit and diagnosis and has been an insurance nightmare and still fighting the office and insurance to correct the claim. And further they dare to threaten me with Collection and ruin my perfectly good 800+ credit. MoFos. Have spend so much time and frustration I never experienced in my life. Have not seen such INCOMPETENT doctor and staff in my life and not to mention the ugly office and that very ugly Water damage / Mold marks on the… ceiling that the Cheap bas..... will not shell a hundred bucks to replace the ceiling tiles. I have seen it for the last 6 months, do not know how long it has been like that. They got a earful from me today and venting it out here on Yelp. And I am sure I was not a BP patient but they sure made me one today :). So be warned and go here if want complimentary High Blood Pressure with your visits.

My experience as a patient of Dr. Cochran has been one of the best. I recommend friends and family to him.I was diagnosed with having abnormal cells in my cervix, was referred to a specialist by Dr. Cochran, but whenever I had a question regarding my visit w/the specialist I will go to Dr. Cochran who gladly helped me and returned every call after he did a little research and got 2nd and 3rd opinions from different drs. Most drs will not go out of their way to help, but he did.His bedside manners are great, and his hands are always clean. My Mom and I have only positive things to say about Dr. Cochran.
