Dr Hartley was my second opinion doctor and the one who ultimately did my double surgery- I couldn't have been happier and more confident with choosing him. I had another minor procedure with him afterwards for another problem ( after affects of previous surgery but nothing to do with any errors) and it didn't take, but this was not his fault either, I it is not uncommon and I need to go back in and talk to him about next steps. In the meantime, I have been diagnosed with cancer and after seeing two other specialists, I found out that Dr Hartley covers this type of surgery too- I am ecstatic and am calling to get in to consult with him tomorrow! I highly recommend Dr Hartly, he may not take quite as much time as SOME physicians, but adequate. He is a busy man . He knows what he is doing and I honestly wouldn't want anyone else performing this major organ removal surgery .

Most caring and genuine surgeon our family have ever met. Excellent bedside manner and courteous staff make this Dr Hartley the best Dr we know. Please consult with him before making any decision.

I feel safe and Secure with Dr. Hartley... He did my surgery 12 years ago and I made a point to have him again this last surgery. Dr. Hartley and his entire staff are awesome... I would highly recommend him.

If doctor Hartley hadn't listened to the ER doctor treating me, I likely would have died. Dr. Hartley took care of me immediately, at the expense of putting off another patient. For that I will always be greatful! Thank you Dr Hartley!

i have never been a complainer. move through life as it comes. i rarely to never go to te dr. never had a real reason but when it finally came to needing surgory i could not have been more frusterated and dissapointed. i went in knowing what my issue was explained in detail what was needed due to the assistance of another physician. How do you clearly see an issue and leave surgery with it not fixed!!! then go back to ask questions and be told i had know idea that was the issue. i had a clear hernia protruding from my abdomen. it took about a week for swelling to go down to see it was still there. He was preoccupied wiht personal issues that were tolld to every patient he had after my surgery by his front desk associates. horrible experience still need surgery do not use dr hartley if you live in the central oregon area
