Dr. Jack I Hershman, MD

When I needed a surgeon I found him not in a major medical institution but in Phelps Memorial Hospital in the bucolic village of Sleepy Hollow. Dr. Hershman saved my life. Dr. Hershman is exceptional not only because he is a great surgeon but also because he is a caring surgeon. I know another person who he helped when others made things worse. His team at Phelps Memorial Hospital is also very good and supportice. I consider him a friend.

All I can say about Dr Hershman when I have a medical issue and called his office he has responded within a hour. I feel most Dr just seem to rush you in and out. Not him he spends time talking to his patients. THE MEDICAL PROFFESION NEEDS MORE DR. LIKE HIM!!!!!!!

He is conservative with your care, always gives you the information you need to make the right decisions. Keeps me calm and his steadiness keeps me from flipping out. Have been seen for BPH, numerous Kidney stones, very high psa levels, urinary issues ! Love Dr. HERSHMAN

Dr. Hershman saved my fathers life and got him urinating like he was 18 years old again. Don't risk your life going to anyone else(Seth Lerner). Your health is not something play with and I learned that the hard until I found Dr. Hershman.

Having suffered for many years from BPH, I finally decided to have Green Light Prostate surgery performed. Based on my research I decided to use the services of Dr. Hershman as my urologist and surgeon. The pre-op visits to Dr. Hershman's office were reassuring and made my decision easy. The operation itself was done without any problems and I'm very pleased with the outcome. I'm writing this review more than three months after the procedure. I had no problems, pain or side-effects after the operation and my self-retraining to have a normal functioning bladder/prostate is progressing excellently. Best result: the improvement of quality of life!
