Dr. Jack Marek Klem, MD

I wonder now who are the patients writing a "nice" review... if they really exist. This is the worst doctor I have ever seen... never gave me a diagnostic or explanation about what is my painful condition that I have in my feet after surgery. He didn't want to order a test... today is Day 31 after surgery. He wrote "Myofascial release" in a therapy order but never bothered to explain that. His only explanation was that "he doesn't have a crystal ball to know when I will get better!" (?) What is that? A total lack of respect and medical ethics.

I am a patient of Dr. Klem and I am very dissapointed at him. He doesnt give the time and attention that every patient needs. My surgery was 12 days ago and I can't feel my foot, my leg is very weak, he doesnt care at all. He said with time it eill get better... no further test needed just waiting. When I asked about how much time are we talking about he said "he doesn't have 'a crystal ball' ..." what type of response is that? He also added that he did his work by doing the surgery and now I cant look out for another doctor if I dont trust him. HE LIKES TO BE RUDE. Very unprofessional. My foot really hurts and is like paralyzed.... Shame on you Dr. KLEM you are a shame to the medical community also. You are not a king! Signed Beatriz M. Franquez

Amazing Physician! Saved my mother’s life!! He removed a front lobe tumor and my mother came out of surgery fine. She had no complications from the surgery nor any pain!! If I ever need a neurosurgeon he will be my first choice. He is caring,attentive and intelligent. His office staff were very nice and genuine! I felt comfortable with them and so did my mom. Cannot stress enough how grateful I am that God put this doctor in my mother’s path.

Everyone is kind and does their job accurately.

El Dr Jack M. Klem es una persona muy especial y paciente, te escucha atentamente y te explica el procedimiento con gran profesionalidad. El día en que me hizo la intervención quirúrgica en el Kendall Regional Medical Center se mantuvo atento y cercano desde que llegué a la sala de espera y hasta que concluyó el procedimiento y se dirigió a informarle a mi familia como había sido la cirugía y mi estado en esos momentos.Considero que es un excelente profesional en el que puedes confiar y al cual volvería si es necesario nuevamente.

Dr. Klem has saved my life for three times: Cervical and Lumbar Fusion with Spondylolisthesis in 2013 and Cervical Arthroplasty in 2020. He is very professional and courteous and a great neurosurgeon. In my opinion, the best of the best.

Dr. Klem cared for my mother-in-law and we could not have received better treatment from the staff to the operation. Thank you

I was not there when my father went in for his 1st meeting. His diagnosis. But I was told that Dr. Klem was very professional and explained everything with details and made my father comfortable with the upcoming surgery. I met Dr. Klem for the 1st time when my father was admitted. Dr explained everything again, asked my father questions a d made sure we were ALL at ease with my father's Cervical Spine surgery. EVERYTHING was a success. My father now is recovering and we couldn't be any more thankful. Not once did my dad feel pain on his actual spine while recovering. Just soreness and muscle pain from tension. We are greatful and would recommend Dr. Klem to anyone.

Dr. Klem was a 1 of 4 referrals by another Dr. that I went to see thinking I had a hip issue. After reviewing him on line and visiting the office I made my decision with no doubt that Dr. Klem is very capable. Office clean and organized as a Dr.'s office should be, staff very professional and with you through the process. What impressed me more so is that before surgery my therapist spoke very highly of Dr. Klem, hospital staff spoke highly of Dr. Klem, even nurses attending me in my hospital room spoke highly of Dr. Klem. He is thorough in his explanation of what was going to occur in surgery and what was going to be placed (model shown). Dr. Klem was very patient with me to answer any questions/concerns and very reassuring. As I compared him to other neuro's in the same fashion as Dr. Klem, for me it was a very easy decision to choose him. Do yourself a favor if you are reading this and considering and neuro, go see Dr. Klem. The only thing aggravating will be the parking at… his office location. I am 47 y/o and had the unfortunate issue early in my life of right side sciatica from a pinched nerve. My procedure was to fix L4/L5 for my original operation 27 years ago with a different physician, and had reached its end because of degenerative disc disease. I was bone on bone causing right sciatica again. My procedure was Sept. 22, 2019 (Sunday) and everything was smooth. Everyone is different with the pain after surgery but he puts in the order to assist and staff follows up to keep it under control. I am already recommending him to friends with issues to speak with Dr. Klem, for quality physicians are worth mentioning.
